Doha: Qatar Airways showcased a specially-branded Boeing 777 aircraft painted in FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 livery, at Farnborough International Airshow 2022. The airline has delighted thousands of attendees by offering tours onboard the state-of-the-art aircraft, equipped with the World’s Best Business Class, Q-Suite.

Qatar Airways said in a statement that the logo of the championship was hand-painted on this aircraft in celebration of the national carrier’s partnership with FIFA, which was announced in November 2020.

Qatar Airways has joined as the Official Airline Partner of the CONCACAF championship since 2021. The national carrier has a wide range of global sports partnerships, which include football bodies and federations such as the South American football federation CONMEBOL and the international football federation FIFA, also has sponsored some of the world’s biggest football clubs including Paris Saint-Germain and FC Bayern München, and additional partnerships across multiple sports disciplines such as equestrianism, kitesurfing, paddle and tennis.

Qatar Airways is attending Farnborough Airshow for the first time in two years, since COVID forced its cancellation. The airline is also showcasing its spectacular Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner and luxury Gulfstream G650ER at the airshow.

الدوحة: أتاحت الخطوط الجوية القطرية الشريك الرسمي وشركة الطيران الرسمية لبطولة كأس العالم لكرة القدم FIFA قطر 2022، لآلاف الزوار المشاركين في معرض فارنبره الدولي للطيران 2022 ، مشاهدة أفضل درجة رجال أعمال “كيو سويت” على متن أحدث طائراتها من طراز بوينغ 777 المزينة بشعار بطولة كأس العالم.

وذكرت الخطوط الجوية القطرية في بيان لها، أنه تم رسم شعار البطولة، يدويا على هذه الطائرة احتفاء بشراكة الناقلة الوطنية مع الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم FIFA والتي أعلن عنها في نوفمبر 2020.

وقال سعادة السيد أكبر الباكر، الرئيس التنفيذي لمجموعة الخطوط الجوية القطرية: “مع اقترابنا من انطلاق موعد البطولة، تأتي مشاركتنا بهذه الطائرة المزدانة بشعار بطولة كأس العالم لكرة القدم FIFA قطر 2022، وعرضها على المشاركين والزوار في هذا الحدث المرموق، لتؤكد على جاهزية دولة قطر لاستضافة هذا الحدث التاريخي في نوفمبر القادم”.

ودعا الباكر، المشاركين وزوار معرض فارنبره الدولي للطيران للاستفادة من الباقات الحصرية التي تقدمها الخطوط الجوية القطرية لمشجعي كرة القدم لتشجيع فريقهم المفضل في أكبر بطولة في العالم”.

وفي إطار هدفها المتمثل في التقريب بين الثقافات والشعوب المختلفة من خلال الرياضة، انضمت الخطوط الجوية القطرية، شريكا للطيران الرسمي ‏لبطولة الكونكاكاف منذ العام 2021. وتمتلك الناقلة الوطنية مجموعة من الشراكات الرياضية العالمية الواسعة ‏والتي تشمل هيئات واتحادات كرة القدم مثل اتحاد أمريكا الجنوبية لكرة القدم “كونميبول” والاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم /FIFA/.

كما ترعى شركة الطيران ‏أيضا عددا من أكبر أندية كرة القدم على مستوى العالم بما في ذلك باريس سان جيرمان وبايرن ميونخ، بالإضافة إلى انضمامها كشريك في عدد من ‏البطولات الرياضية الأخرى في الفروسية والتزلج الشراعي والبادل والتنس.‏ تجدر الإشارة إلى أن مشاركة الخطوط الجوية القطرية في معرض فارنبره الدولي للطيران 2022 هي الأولى منذ عامين، وذلك عقب تأجيل إقامة المعرض بسبب إجراءات مكافحة جائحة كورونا.

وتستعرض الناقلة القطرية طائراتها المميزة من طراز بوينغ 787-9 دريملاينر وجلفستريم G650ER الفاخرة في المعرض الجوي.
