HH the Amir Chairs Supreme Council for Economic Affairs and Investment Second Meeting of 2023

Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Economic Affairs and Investment, chaired this morning the Council’s second meeting of 2023 at the Amiri Diwan.

HH The Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Thani, the Deputy Chairman of the Council, attended the meeting along with HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, Executive Member of the Council, and Their Excellencies members of the Council.

The Council discussed the decisions and recommendations made in the first meeting of 2023 and the project follow-up report. The Council also discussed the country’s economic priorities and took appropriate decisions in its regard.

The Council was also briefed on the presentations on the storage and transport sectors, as well as the information and communication sectors, in addition to the activities of the finance and insurance sectors.

The Council discussed the topics listed on its agenda and took the appropriate decisions in their regard.

الدوحة: ترأس حضرة صاحب السمو الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني أمير البلاد المفدى، رئيس المجلس الأعلى للشؤون الاقتصادية والاستثمار، الاجتماع الثاني للمجلس لعام 2023، والذي عقد صباح الأمس بالديوان الأميري.

حضر الاجتماع سمو الشيخ عبدالله بن حمد آل ثاني نائب الأمير، نائب رئيس المجلس، ومعالي الشيخ محمد بن عبدالرحمن بن جاسم آل ثاني رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الخارجية، العضو التنفيذي للمجلس، وأصحاب السعادة الأعضاء.

استعرض المجلس ما تم من قرارات وتوصيات في الاجتماع الأول للمجلس لعام 2023، وتقرير متابعة المشاريع، كما اطلع المجلس على تقرير سير الأولويات الاقتصادية للدولة، واتخذ بشأنها القرارات المناسبة.

واطلع المجلس على العروض الخاصة بقطاع النقل والتخزين، وقطاع المعلومات والاتصالات، وقطاع الأنشطة المالية وأنشطة التأمين.

كما تناول المجلس المواضيع المدرجة على جدول أعماله واتخذ بشأنها القرارات المناسبة.
