Can you carry falcons with you on a Qatar Airways flight?

Qatar Airways will allow a passenger to travel with one falcon as an economy class passenger and a maximum of six falcons are permitted within the entire cabin of any aircraft.

The national carrier indicated – on its website – that with regard to falcons, the regulations of the destination country may apply.

Adding that for the safety of your pet, Qatar Airways reserves the right to refuse to transport an animal if the cargo box was found to be too small.

If a falcon is transported as checked baggage and not in the cabin, travelling cost of animals as checked baggage will apply.

أوضحت الخطوط الجوية القطرية أنه يمكن للراكب حمل صقر واحد في مقصورة الدرجة السياحية، ويُسمح بستة صقور كحد أقصى داخل مقصورة الدرجة السياحية في أي طائرة.

وأشارت الناقلة الوطنية – على موقعها الإلكتروني – إلى أنه فيما يتعلق بالصقور، قد يتم تطبيق أنظمة بلد الوجهة.

وأضافت أنه من أجل سلامة حيوانك الأليف، تحتفظ الخطوط الجوية القطرية بالحق في رفض نقل أي حيوان إذا وجدنا أن صندوق الشحن صغير جداً.

وفي حالة نقل صقر ضمن الأمتعة المسجلة وليس في مقصورة الطائرة، تُطبق عليه تكلفة نقل الحيوانات ضمن الأمتعة المسجلة.
