5 Reasons why start-up projects fail

Doha: A number of entrepreneurs revealed that there are 5 main reasons behind the failure of start-up projects despite the programs implemented by many authorities to qualify small business owners to succeed in the labor market, such as:

1- High shop rent is considered the main reason behind the failure of start-up projects.

2- Neglecgene in doing a feasibility study and investigating market needs.

3- Focusing on establishing similar projects such as cafes and burger restaurants

4- The obstacles they face with government agencies ie. high fees for renewing licenses.

5- High customs duties for some of the goods they import.

الدوحة: كشفَ عددٌ من روَّاد الأعمال أن هناك 5 أسباب رئيسية وراء تعثر مشاريع الشباب رغم البرامج التي نفذتها العديد من الجهات لتأهيل أصحاب المشاريع الصغيرة للنجاح في سوق العمل وهي:

١- ارتفاع إيجار المحلات هو السبب الرئيسي وراء تعثر المشاريع الصغيرة.

٢- تجاهل رائد الأعمال عمل دراسة جدوى وتحري احتياجات السوق.

٣- التركيز على إنشاء مشاريع متشابهة مثل المقاهي ومطاعم «البرجر».

٤- العقبات التي يواجهونها مع الجهات الحكومية المتمثلة في الرسوم العالية لتجديد الرخص.

٥- ارتفاع الرسوم الجمركية لبعض السلع التي يستوردونها.
