Department of Meteorology warns of thunderstorms and strong winds
«الأرصاد» تحذّر من أمطار رعدية ورياح قوية
Weather inshore until 6pm will be partly cloudy to cloudy at times with chance of scattered rain that may be thundery at times, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report.
There is also a possibility of strong wind especially in northern areas and offshore, warned the department. It added that the chance of rain improves from tomorrow, Tuesday, extending gradually over Doha and most areas of the country.
In addition a noticeable drop in temperatures is expected from Wednesday, November 20, ranging between 13 to 25 degree Celsius across the country.
Qatar Meteorology Department urged residents to be cautious, avoid going to the sea and follow latest updates through social media accounts.
حذرت إدارة الأرصاد الجوية من أمطار رعدية متوقعة، تصاحبها رياح قوية وأمواج عالية في عرض البحر، متوقّعة أن يكون الطقس اليوم الاثنين على الساحل غائماً جزئياً، مع فرصة لأمطار متفرقة على بعض المناطق في البداية.. وفي البحر يكون الطقس غائماً جزئياً إلى غائم مع فرصة لأمطار متفرقة قد تكون رعدية أحياناً.
وفي البحر تكون الرياح جنوبية شرقية إلى شرقية، بسرعة تتراوح بين 8 و18 عقدة، مع هبات تصل سرعتها إلى 28 عقدة مع الأمطار الرعدية. ويتراوح ارتفاع الموج على الساحل بين قدم واحدة و3 أقدام، يرتفع إلى 5 أقدام مع الأمطار الرعدية. وأدنى درجة حرارة متوقعة في الدوحة 24 درجة مئوية.
