Doha: Pre-clinical tests of a new anti-coronavirus vaccine developed by scientists at the Russian Gamaleya Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology have begun at the Russian Ministry of Health.
Academic Alexander Ginsburg, president of the Russian Gamaleya Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology, announced the start of preclinical tests of the emerging anti-coronavirus nasal vaccine.
This vaccine in the form of nasal drops does not even cause any minor side effects, “this is a vaccine for positional use, and will not even cause a rise in body temperature,” Ginsburg said according to Russia Today.
At the end of this year, clinical trials will begin for a new “Covid-19” treatment, which is based on antibodies. Developers will try to make this treatment affordable so that everyone can afford it. As it will be given to patients in hospitals and medical clinics. Ginsburg added
“The treatment will help patients with severe cases of Covid-19, which currently ends with their deaths, and therefore the mortality rate will decrease drastically”. he said. Adding “By mid-2022, we will be able to conduct the second and third phases of clinical trials”.
In an interview with Russia’s Novosti news agency, Ginsburg noted that there is nothing to prevent the physiology of vaccinating 14-year-olds with the Sputnik V vaccine. Ministry of Health experts are therefore considering adding them to the vaccination programme.
According to Ginsburg, humanity will not overcome the Covid-19 pandemic next fall. In Russia, however, its spread will be manageable, thanks to the three anti-coronavirus vaccines currently used to vaccinate citizens.

وأعلن الأكاديمي ألكسندر غينسبورغ، رئيس مركز “غاماليا” الروسي للأوبئة والبيولوجيا المجهرية، عن بداية الاختبارات قبل السريرية للقاح أنفي مضاد للفيروس التاجي المستجد.
ووفقا له، هذا اللقاح على شكل قطرات للأنف لا يسبب حتى أي آثار جانبية طفيفة، ويقول “هذا لقاح للاستخدام الموضعي، و لن يسبب حتى ارتفاع درجة حرارة الجسم”، بحسب روسيا اليوم.
ويضيف الأكاديمي، ستبدا في نهاية العام الجاري الاختبارات السريرية لعقار جديد لعلاج “كوفيد-19” أساسه الأجسام المضادة. وسوف يحاول المبتكرون جعل ثمن هذا الدواء زهيدا ليكون في متناول الجميع. وسوف يعطى للمرضى في المستشفيات والعيادات الطبية.
وأوضح الأكاديمي، هذا العقار سيساعد المرضى المصابين بالحالات الشديدة من “كوفيد-19″، التي تنتهي حاليا بوفاتهم، وبهذا سوف ينخفض بصورة حادة معدل الوفيات بهذا المرض.
ويقول، “في منتصف عام 2022 المقبل سيكون بإمكاننا إجراء المرحلتين الثانية والثالية من الاختبارات السريرية”.
وأشار غينسبورغ، في حديث لوكالة نوفوستي الروسية للأنباء، إلى أنه لا يوجد ما يمنع فسيولوجيا تطعيم الأطفال الذين بلغوا الرابعة عشرة من العمر بلقاح “سبوتنيك V”. لذلك يدرس خبراء وزارة الصحة مسألة إضافتهم إلى برنامج التطعيم.
ووفقا له، لن تتغلب البشرية على جائحة “كوفيد-19” في الخريف المقبل. ولكن في روسيا سيصبح بالإمكان التحكم بانتشارها، بفضل اللقاحات الثلاثة المضادة للفيروس التاجي المستخدمة حاليا في تطعيم المواطنين.
