Amir Holds Phone Call with Sultan of Oman

Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani held on Sunday a phone call with HM Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of the Sultanate of Oman, to be reassured and express solidarity in the wake of Cyclone Shaheen that hit the Sultanate.
HH the Amir expressed the solidarity of the State of Qatar with the brotherly Omani people, and its support for the Sultanate in its efforts to face the repercussions of the cyclone.
For his part, HM the Sultan of Oman expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to HH the Amir for his fraternal and humanitarian solidarity and the position of the State of Qatar which reflects the strength of the brotherly relations between the two countries.
The phone call also reviewed the close brotherly relations between the two countries and prospects of enhancing them.
الدوحة: أجرى حضرة صاحب السمو الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني أمير البلاد المفدى، اتصالاً هاتفياً مساء الأمس مع أخيه جلالة السلطان هيثم بن طارق سلطان عمان الشقيقة للاطمئنان والتضامن جراء تداعيات إعصار شاهين الذي ضرب السلطنة.
وأعرب سمو الأمير عن تضامن دولة قطر مع الشعب العماني الشقيق، ووقوفها مع السلطنة في الجهود التي تبذلها في مواجهة تداعيات الإعصار.
من جانبه، عبر جلالة سلطان عمان عن خالص شكره وتقديره لسمو الأمير المفدى على تضامنه الأخوي والإنساني وموقف دولة قطر الذي يعكس متانة العلاقات الأخوية التي تربط البلدين.
كما جرى خلال الاتصال استعراض العلاقات الأخوية الوطيدة بين البلدين وآفاق تعزيزها.
