Partial Closure of Ruwais Street for 3 months
إغلاق جزئي لشارع رويس لمدة 3 أشهر
The Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ will implement a partial closure on Ruwais Street in both directions, between Al-Shamal Health Centre and Ruwais Street’s intersection with Al-Hawaya Street (before Al-Ruwais Shopping Mall), starting Tuesday 2 July 2019 for a period of 3 months, in coordination with the General Directorate of traffic.
During this time, traffic coming from Madinat Al-Shamal Street and heading to Al-Ruwais Shopping Mall can turn right to Al-Meena Street, and then left to Al-Ghariya Street, then use Al-Gheena Street leading to Al-Ruwais Shopping Mall. Traffic heading back from Al-Ruwais Shopping Mall towards Madinat Al-Shamal Street can use the same diversion route, as shown in the attached map.
This closure aims to allow for implementing the works on the Roads and Infrastructure Development Project in Al Shamal – Package 1, as part of Ashghal’s efforts to rehabilitate the existing roads and to establish new and permanent roads in Al Shamal area.
The Public Works Authority will install road signs advising motorists of the traffic shift. Ashghal requests all road users to abide by the speed limit, and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.
تعلن هيئة الأشغال العامة “أشغال” عن إغلاق جزء من شارع رويس بالاتجاهين بين مركز الشمال الصحي وتقاطع شارع رويس مع شارع الحوايا (قبل الرويس مول)، وذلك اعتباراً من الثلاثاء 2 يوليو 2019 ولمدة ثلاثة أشهر، وبالتنسيق مع الإدارة العامة للمرور.
خلال هذه الفترة، يمكن للمتجهين من شارع مدينة الشمال إلى الرويس مول الانعطاف يميناً إلى شارع الميناء ثم الانعطاف يساراً نحو شارع الغارية ومنه إلى شارع الغينة للوصول إلى الرويس مول. كما يمكن للمتجهين من الرويس مول إلى شارع مدينة الشمال استخدام نفس التحويلة، كما هو موضح في الخريطة أعلاه.
يهدف الإغلاق الى إتاحة المجال لتنفيذ أعمال مشروع تطوير الطرق والبنية التحتية في الشمال – الحزمة الأولى، وذلك في إطار جهود الهيئة لإعادة تأهيل الطرق القائمة وإنشاء طرق جديدة دائمة ومتطورة في منطقة الشمال.
ستقوم هيئة الأشغال العامة بتركيب اللوحات الإرشادية لتنبيه مستخدمي الطريق بهذا التغيير المروري، وتهيب بجميع مستخدمي الطريق الالتزام بحدود السرعة المسموحة واتباع اللوحات الإرشادية حفاظاً على سلامتهم.
