Closure of 1 Lane in Each Direction on Al Oyoun & Thani bin Jassim Streets
إغلاق مؤقت لمسار واحد في كلا الاتجاهين في شارع العيون وشارع ثاني بن جاسم
The Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ announces a temporary closure of 1 lane in each direction on both Al Oyoun Street and Thani bin Jassim Street (known as Al Ittihad Street) in Al Gharrafa, starting Monday 1 July 2019 for a period of three months, inn coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic.
During this period, one lane will remain open for traffic in each direction on both of Al Oyoun Street and Thani bin Jassim Street. A new temporary turn is constructed on Thani bin Jassim Street to allow road users to make a U-turn near the Souk area without having to reach the intersection with Al Gharrafa Street, as shown in the attached map.
The temporary closure aims to facilitate the construction of a new drainage system in this part of Al Gharrafa area.
Ashghal will install road signs advising road users to abide by the specified speed limit of the alternative routes and follow road signs to ensure their safety.
تعلن هيئة الأشغال العامة “أشغال” عن تنفيذ إغلاق مؤقت لمسار واحد في كلا الاتجاهين بشارع العيون وشارع ثاني بن جاسم (المعروف بشارع الاتحاد) في منطقة الغرافة، ابتداءً من الأثنين 1 يوليو 2019 ولمدة ثلاثة أشهر، وذلك بالتنسيق مع الإدارة العامة للمرور.
خلال هذه الفترة، سيتم الإبقاء على مسار واحد مفتوح للمرور في كلا الاتجاهين على شارعي العيون وثاني بن جاسم. وقد تم إنشاء منعطف جديد مؤقت على شارع ثاني بن جاسم حتى يتمكن رواد الطريق من الإلتفاف والعودة بالقرب من المنطقة التجارية دون الحاجة للوصول لتقاطعه مع شارع الغرافة، كما هو موضح في الخريطة المرفقة.
يهدف الإغلاق المؤقت إلى تسهيل بناء نظام صرف صحي جديد في هذا الجزء من منطقة الغرافة.
ستقوم هيئة الأشغال العامة بتركيب اللوحات الإرشادية لتنبيه مستخدمي الطريق بهذا الإغلاق، وتهيب بالجميع الالتزام بحدود السرعة المسموحة واتباع اللوحات الإرشادية حفاظاً على سلامتهم
