More flights from Qatar to India in the next stage to repatriate Indian citizens

First repatriation flight from Qatar to India carrying 178 passengers left Hamad International Airport this evening.
The Ambassador of India to Qatar, P Kumaran, who was present at the airport to see off the Indians on the flight to Kochi told media persons that there could be 4-5 more flights from Doha in the second stage.
“We are happy that the first flight has taken off. It is several days’ work to identifying the right people and a lot of coordination was going on between various ministries and departments. We are very thankful to Qatar government, Qatar Civil Aviation Authorities and Hamad international Airport authorities for all the help they provided,” he said at the airport.

44,000 Indians, who belong to various states of India, have registered with Embassy for repatriation.
“We are hoping for more flights in the next stage, which is likely to start from May 15. We are looking at around 4-5 flights from Doha to different parts of India in the second stage,” the envoy added.
“We process the data and prioritise depending on the need. We will also try and accommodate house maids, when flights to their places are announced. Most of the housemaids are from Telangana and Andhra region. There are 200 people at the deportation
centre and 70 people who received Amir’s amnesty pardon, they will also be accommodated in the future flights,” he concluded.

الدوحة : غادرت مطار حمد الدولي مساء اليوم أول رحلة إعادة من قطر إلى الهند تقل 178 راكبا .
وقال سفير الهند لدى قطر (بي كوماران)، الذي كان حاضراً في المطار لرؤية الهنود على متن الطائرة المتجهة إلى كوتشي، لوسائل الإعلام أنه قد تكون هناك 4-5 رحلات أخرى من الدوحة في المرحلة الثانية.
صرح أثناء تواجده في المطار قائلاً: “نحن سعداء بإقلاع أول رحلة. لقد تم العمل لعدة أيام لتحديد الأشخاص المناسبين، وكان هناك الكثير من التنسيق بين مختلف الوزارات والإدارات. ونحن ممتنون جداً لحكومة قطر وسلطات الطيران المدني القطرية وسلطات مطار حمد الدولي على كل المساعدة التي قدمتها”.

وقد سجل 44 ألف هندي ينتمون الى ولايات مختلفة من الهند أسماءهم لدى السفارة لإعادتهم إلى الوطن.
أضاف المبعوث “نأمل في تسيير المزيد من الرحلات في المرحلة المقبلة التي من المرجح أن تبدأ اعتباراً من 15 مايو. نتوقع انطلاق ما بين 4 إلى 5 رحلات من الدوحة إلى أجزاء مختلفة من الهند في المرحلة الثانية “.
“نحن نعالج البيانات ونحدد أولوياتها حسب الحاجة. وسنحاول أيضا ً استيعاب خادمات المنازل، عندما يتم الإعلان عن الرحلات الجوية إلى مناطقهن. معظم الخادمات أتين من تيلانغانا ومنطقة أندرا. هناك 200 شخص في مركز الترحيل و70 شخصاً ممن حصلوا على عفو الأمير، وسوف يتم استيعابهم أيضا في الرحلات الجوية المقبلة”.
