China sends 9 satellites into space

ANKARA: China launched at least nine satellites into space on Tuesday to provide an eastern province of the country with remote sensing services, as well as to observe small celestial bodies, according to local media reports.
The satellites will be used to provide remote sensing services to local governments in Shandong province for land surveying, urban development, agriculture, forestry, energy, disaster prevention and reduction, the state-run Xinhua News reported.
They will also be used to test technologies such as satellite platform design, real-time imaging and observation, data acquisition and transmission, and small celestial body observations and remote sensing services, it added.
The launch ceremony of the satellites was held at the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in the northern Shanxi province at 11.20 a.m. (0320GMT).
An indigenously-built Long March-6 rocket was used to send the satellites into space, including the Qilu-1 and Qilu-4 which have entered their planned orbits.
This was the 366th flight mission of the Long March rocket series.
Earlier this month, China had launched another new satellite for research purposes.
China is preparing to launch its space station later this year, with more than 40 launches planned in 2021.

بكين: أفادت وكالة «شنخوا» الصينية بأن الصين نجحت في إطلاق صاروخ «جانجين – 6» الحامل على متنه 9 أقمار صناعية تابعة لشركات خاصة.
وأشارت إلى أن صاروخ «جانجين» أصبح الصاروخ ال 366 من أسرة جانجين (المسير الطويل).
وحسب الوكالة فإن الصاروخ انطلق الساعة 11.20 يوم 26 أبريل بالتوقيت المحلي (الساعة 06.20 بتوقيت موسكو) من مطار «تاي يونغ» في محافظة شانسي الصينية.
وقالت الوكالة: إن كل الأقمار الصناعية وصلت بنجاح مداراتها. وبينها القمران الصناعيان «تسيلو – 1» و«تسيلو – 4» اللذان سيقدمان خدمات استشعار الأرض عن بُعد لمحافظة شاندونغ لتطوير الزراعة وقطاع الطاقة والحيلولة دون وقوع كوارث طبيعية.
أما بقية الأقمار الصناعية فتستخدم، حسب الوكالة، لاختبار التكنولوجيات المتقدمة الخاصة بتطوير الأقمار الصناعية الجديدة وكذلك لتصوير الأرض وجمع المعلومات وإرسالها.
يُذكر أن الصين تطوّر بنشاط برنامجها القمري وبصورة خاصة تنشئ محطة فضائية صينية في مدار الأرض وتدرس القمر والمريخ.
وقد وقّعت الوكالة الفضائية الصينية مؤخرًا مع مؤسسة «روس كوسموس» الفضائية الحكومية اتفاقية إنشاء محطة علمية قمرية.
