National Day preparations for educational sector announced

DOHA: The National Day Organizing Committee 2018 has announced the launch of preparations of educational sector activities, during which the participants expressed their keenness to show their fingerprints of love for the country and loyalty to the wise leadership.

The educational activities came as part of the vision of the Qatar National Day which represents loyalty, unity and pride in the national identity. It also develops among participants the creativity and transparency.

The students will pay greetings to Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and for this activity, 1,300 students representing 28 schools will participate with a sense of extreme happiness and pride.

The activities of the educational sector are also a confirmation of the National Day’s achievements and not for temporary excitement. It educates people about the national symbols, headed by the founder Sheikh Jassim and the principles and values of the society.

The main aim of organising the activities is to strengthen the loyalty between the people and the leader, enhance the cohesion between the citizens and residents of Qatar and increase the pride in Qatar’s unity. It also apprises the present generation about the meaning of loyalty and unity through these activities, and educates them about the heritage and history of Qatar.

The focus is only on the activities which are related to Qatar’s history and identity.

The Organizing Committee assigned different roles to educational institutes to promote participation in the National Day activities: Noumas Centre will see the activities of Lmradah and Ardat hal Qatar, Qatar Debates Centre will supervise the activity of Qatar debates activity, the Poetry Council will supervise Ad Al-Qaseed activity, Media Centre will supervise the Aelami Al Mustaqbal (journalists of the future), and the activity of Almasrah (theatre) will be supervised by Theater Affairs Centre.

In the educational sector, students from schools will participate in activities including: reception of H H the Amir, Ardat hal Qatar, Qatar Debates, Ad Al Qaseed, Almasrah (theater), Lmradah, and Aelami Al Mustaqbal (journalists of the future).

The number of students participating in receiving H H the Amir is 1,300 students while 560 students will take part in Ardat hal Qatar activity, 71 students in Qatar Debates, 288 female students in Lmradah activity, 390 students will participate in Ad Al-Qaseed activity, 129 students in Aelami Al Mustaqbal (journalists of the future) and 260 students in theatre activity. Among other activities, the reception of H H the Amir (activity) aims to embody meaning of belonging to the homeland and patriotism and will contribute to the development of the national sense among students.

أعلنت اللجنة المنظمة لاحتفالات اليوم الوطني 2018، انطلاق فعاليات القطاع التعليمي شهر سبتمبر الماضي، وسط أجواء مفعمة بالانتماء الوطني، يحرص خلالها المشاركون على أن تكون لهم بصماتهم حباً للوطن، وولاء لقيادته الرشيدة.

وجاءت فعاليات القطاع التعليمي تحقيقاً لرؤية اليوم الوطني، المتمثلة في تعزيز الولاء، والتكاتف والوحدة، والاعتزاز بالهوية الوطنية لدولة قطر، تأكيداً على قيم اللجنة المنظمة لاحتفالات اليوم الوطني، والتي تتضمن المشاركة والإلهام والإبداع والشفافية.

كما تأتي فعاليات القطاع التعليمي تأكيداً لتطلعات اليوم الوطني تجاه التأثير الممتد وليست الإثارة المؤقتة، وإبراز رموز وطنية، والتأثير على أفراد المجتمع، من خلال التركيز على إبراز مبادئهم وقيمهم، وعلى رأسهم المؤسس الشيخ جاسم رحمه الله، وإبراز قيم المجتمع القطري النابعة من القيم الأصيلة لهذا المجتمع منذ تأسيس كيانه، وتعريف الجيل الناشئ معاني الولاء والتكاتف والوحدة، وغرسها في نفوسهم، من خلال فعاليات محددة، والتعريف بالتراث والتاريخ القطري، وعدم اختزال حقبة من التاريخ في يوم من الاحتفالات، والتركيز على الفعاليات التي لها أصل في تاريخنا، وترتبط ارتباطاً مباشراً بهويتنا وتقاليدنا المميزة، وربط الماضي ومواقفه الوطنية التي تعكس قيم الولاء والتكاتف والوحدة بمواقف معاصرة تعكس القيم ذاتها، وتجسيد المفاهيم والقيم الوطنية، وتفعيلها على أرض الواقع، من خلال فعاليات محددة، وتفاعل ومشاركة أكبر عدد من المواطنين والمقيمين في اليوم الوطني.

وانطلاقاً من تعزيز اللجنة المنظمة لاحتفالات اليوم الوطني المشاركة مع الجهات المختصة، فإن فعاليتي عرضة هل قطر ولمراداة يتم الإشراف عليهما من قِبل مركز نوماس، ويشرف مركز مناظرات قطر على فعالية مناظرات قطر، كما يشرف مجلس الشعر على فعالية عد القصيد، بينما يشرف المركز الإعلامي للشباب على فعالية إعلامي المستقبل، أما فعالية المسرح فيشرف عليها مركز شؤون المسرح.;
