France’s TF1: Qatar desert a new destination for tourism and entertainment

Doha: France’s TF1 channel said in a report on the Qatari desert that it is the new destination for tourism and entertainment, pointing out that the majestic skyscrapers in Qatar covered the other side of Qatar and the tree that covered the forest, where many do not know about the desert’s hidden jewels.
The report said that the Qatari desert is a suitable place for all activities and events, as the largest expanses of the desert extend south-west of Doha, a desert characterized by its high sand dunes ideal for safaris, sand skiing or enjoying the amazing natural features of the region, as families head there during the day for nature walks or recreation. Desert activities, dune driving and camping under a star umbrella are the best weekend for many Qataris.
Desert scenes vary constantly by day and night and according to the lights of nature, and the views of sunrise and sunset are among the most distinctive moments in the desert, and the star-lit sky is a great haven for fans of star gazing.
The report continued to provide a glimpse into the characteristics of the Qatari desert and explore its treasures and jewels, referring to the stunning Khor Al-Adeed, which is located on the border of Saudi Arabia, an inland sea, in the middle of the dunes. It has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The report added that The Beach Of Khor Al-Adeed or the inland sea as it is called locally, is one of the most beautiful tourist attractions in Qatar, where it provides a comfortable and calm environment, and this beautiful beach features sandy dunes, some of which reach a height of about forty meters, in addition to the beaches of Fuwairit, Dukhan and others, and a bound sea area and a variety of marine animals and the marine area is considered one of the largest marine nature reserves in Qatar and Al-Adeed contains sulfur eye, which is specifically in an area called Diha.
The same source pointed to the great attention that camels receive and the way they are equipped for sports races, adding “They are spoiled, equipped like athletes, and they are very popular in Qatar”. The price of these animals amounts to an imaginary amount of 1 million euros.”

وقال التقرير إن الصحراء القطرية مكان مناسب لجميع الأنشطة والفعاليات، حيث تمتد المساحات الأكبر للصحراء جنوب غرب الدوحة، وهي صحراء تمتاز بكثبانها الرملية المرتفعة المثالية لرحلات السفاري والتزلج على الرمال أو الاستمتاع بالمعالم الطبيعية المذهلة في المنطقة، كما تقصدها العائلات نهارًا كمقصد للتنزه في الطبيعة للاستجمام. كما تعتبر ممارسة الأنشطة الصحراوية والقيادة فوق الكثبان الرملية والتخييم تحت مظلة من النجوم هي أفضل عطلة نهاية أسبوع لكثير من القطريين.
وتختلف مشاهد الصحراء باستمرار باختلاف ساعات اليوم والليل وبحسب أضواء الطبيعة، وتعتبر مشاهد شروق الشمس وغروبها من اللحظات الأكثر تميزًا في الصحراء، كما يعتبر مشهد السماء المضاءة بالنجوم ملاذًا رائعًا لمحبي تأمل النجوم.
واصل التقرير تقديم لمحة عن مميزات الصحراء القطرية واستكشاف كنوزها وجواهرها، مشيرا إلى خور العديد المذهل الذي يقع على حدود المملكة العربية السعودية، وهو بحر داخلي، في وسط الكثبان الرملية. تم تصنيفه كموقع للتراث العالمي لليونسكو.
واضاف التقرير أن شاطئ خور العديد أو البحر الداخلي كما يسمى محليًا، هو واحد من المعالم السياحية الأكثر جمالًا في قطر، حيث يوفر بيئة مريحة وهادئة، ويمتاز هذا الشاطئ الجميل بكثبانه الرملية التي يصل ارتفاع بعضها إلى حوالي أربعين مترًا، إضافة إلى شواطئ فويرط ودخان وغيرها، وتكثر فيه الأسماك ومجموعة متنوعة من الحيوانات البحرية وتعتبر المنطقة البحرية فيها من أكبر المحميات الطبيعية البحرية في قطر وتحتوي العديد على عين كبريتية وهي تحديدًا في منطقة تسمى الديحة.
ولفت ذات المصدر إلى الاهتمام الكبير الذي تحظى به الجمال وطريقة تجهيزهم للسباقات الرياضية، مضيفا “إنهم مدللون، ومجهزون مثل الرياضيين للسباقات، وهم مشهورون جدًا في قطر. ويصل سعر هذه الحيوانات إلى مبالغ خيالية تصل إلى مليون يورو”.
