Qatar Participates in Arab League Meeting to Discuss Developments in Ukraine

Cairo: The work of the extraordinary meeting of the Council of the Arab League began Monday at the headquarters of the Arab League’s General Secretariat to discuss the situation developments in Ukraine.
The delegation of the State of Qatar in the meeting is headed by HE the Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar to the Arab League Salem Mubarak Al Shafi.
The meeting comes at the request of the Arab Republic of Egypt, which was supported by the State of Kuwait, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and a number of Arab countries.
It is expected that the meeting will issue a statement reflecting the Arab vision regarding the current situation in Ukraine.

القاهرة: انطلقت يوم أمس بمقر الأمانة العامة لجامعة الدول العربية أعمال الاجتماع غير العادي لمجلس جامعة الدول العربية لبحث تطورات الأوضاع في أوكرانيا .
يترأس وفد دولة قطر في أعمال الاجتماع سعادة السيد سالم مبارك آل شافي المندوب الدائم لدولة قطر لدى جامعة الدول العربية.
ويأتي الاجتماع بناء على طلب جمهورية مصر العربية أيدته كل من دولة الكويت والمملكة الاردنية الهاشمية وعدد من الدول العربية.
ومن المنتظر أن يصدر عن الاجتماع بيان يعكس الرؤية العربية ازاء الاوضاع الحالية في أوكرانيا.
