Qatar takes part in 25th anniversary of Rwanda genocide commemoration

Kigali: The State of Qatar participated yesterday in commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the genocide of the Tutsi tribes in the Republic of Rwanda, in which about one million people were shot dead. The State of Qatar was represented by Minister of State H E Dr Hamad bin Abdulaziz Al Kawari.
H E the Minister of State met with the President of the Republic of Rwanda Paul Kagame and conveyed to him the greetings of Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and his wishes for the development of relations between the two friendly countries.
For his part, the President of the Republic of Rwanda, conveyed to Dr Al Kawari his greetings to H H the Amir and wished the relations between the two friendly countries to flourish.
شاركت دولة قطر، أمس، في إحياء الذكرى الخامسة والعشرين للإبادة الجماعية، التي تعرضت لها قبائل التوتسي في جمهورية رواندا، وراح ضحيتها نحو مليون من البشر.
وقد مثل دولة قطر في هذه المناسبة، سعادة الدكتور حمد بن عبدالعزيز الكواري وزير الدولة. والتقى سعادته فخامة الرئيس بول كاغامي رئيس جمهورية رواندا، ونقل له تحيات حضرة صاحب السمو الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني أمير البلاد المفدى، وتمنياته للعلاقات بين البلدين الصديقين بالتطور.
من جانبه، حمل فخامة الرئيس الرواندي، الدكتور الكواري، تحياته لحضرة صاحب السمو أمير البلاد المفدى، وتمنياته للعلاقات بين البلدين الصديقين بالازدهار.
