Kubaisi to be jury member at Bama Music Awards in US

Popular Qatari musician Fahad al-Kubaisi is getting ready to take part in the Bama Music Awards 2018 in the US, presented by Big Apple Music Awards, local Arabic daily Arrayah reported Sunday.

Al-Kubaisi is the first Arab artiste to be approved as a member of the jury for one of the most important awards given to the artistes in the fields of music and singing. The award ceremony will be held on November 23 at Dolby Theatre in Hollywood district of Los Angeles, US, in the presence of renowned artistes, musicians and singers from around the world.

Al-Kubaisi won the ‘Best Male Khaliji Singer Award’ at the Golden Panther Music Awards 2018 in New York, US, and his songs were aired by various US and Canadian radios. He is working on a number of international music projects, including a joint musical work with a Japanese international musician. In addition, he is currently working on a major work to be performed at the opening of FIFA 2022 World Cup in Qatar. Al-Kubaisi is also known as a records producer, fashion model and human rights activist.

وبدأ فهد الكبيسي رحلته للعالمية من خلال تعاونه مع شركة «باكستاج»، والتي تهدف إلى تقديم الموسيقى العربية بألوانها المعروفة وآلاتها الشهيرة للعالم الغربي دون المساس بهويتها الأصيلة، وتمكن الكبيسي من خلالها من المشاركة في حفل توزيع جوائز «جرامي».;
