MoPH extends validity of vaccine for quarantine exemption to six months
وزارة الصحة تمدد صلاحية الإعفاء من الحجر الصحي بعد اللقاح لمدة ستة أشهر

Doha: The Ministry of Public Health announced updates to the previously announced COVID-19 quarantine policy:
– The validity of the vaccine in regard to the quarantine exemption period has been extended from the previously approved three months to six months, starting 14 days after the second dose.
– Non-vaccinated children below 16 years of age are permitted to undergo home quarantine, rather than hotel quarantine, when returning with fully vaccinated parents from non-green list countries.
The full quarantine exemption criteria are as follows:
– 14 days must have passed after receiving the second dose of the vaccine before returning into Qatar and a negative PCR test is required on return to Qatar following travel. Individuals may travel any time after receiving the second dose.
– the validity of the vaccine to grant quarantine exemption is valid for a period of six months, starting 14 days after the second dose.
– Non- vaccinated children below 16 years of age returning to Qatar from non-green list countries with fully vaccinated parents are permitted to home quarantine for a period of 7 days.
-The exemption does not currently apply to people vaccinated in other countries.

الدوحة: نشرت وزارة الصحة العامة تغييرات في السياسة المعلنة المتعلقة بالحجر الصحي الخاص بكوفيد -١٩ كما يلي:
– تم تمديد صلاحية اللقاح فيما يتعلق بفترة الإعفاء من الحجر الصحي من ثلاثة أشهر معتمدة مسبقاً إلى ستة أشهر تبدأ بعد 14 يوماً من تلقي الجرعة الثانية.
-يسمح للأطفال غير الملحقين الذين تقل أعمارهم عن 16 عاماً بالخضوع للحجر الصحي المنزلي، بدلاً من الحجر الصحي في الفندق، عند العودة مع والديهم الملقحين بالكامل من الدول غير المتضمنة في القائمة الخضراء.
معاير الإعفاء الكامل من الحجر الصحي هي كما يلي:
– يجب أن يكون قد مر 14 يوماً بعد تلقي الجرعة الثانية من اللقاح قبل العودة إلى قطر ويلزم إجراء اختبار تفاعل البوليميراز المتسلسل السلبي عند العودة إلى قطر بعد السفر. يمكن للأفراد السفر في أي وقت بعد تلقي الجرعة الثانية.
– صلاحية اللقاح لمنح الإعفاء من الحجر الصحي صالحة لمدة ستة أشهر تبدأ بعد 14 يوماً من الجرعة الثانية.
– يسمح للأطفال غير الملقحين تحت سن 16 عاماً العائدين إلى قطر مع والديهم الملقحين بالكامل بالحجر المنزلي لمدة 7 أيام عند العودة من الدول غير المتضمنة بالقائمة الخضراء.
– لا ينطبق الإعفاء حالياً على الأشخاص الذين تم تطعيمهم في بلدان أخرى.
