Ministry of Labor Offers 444 Jobs in Private Sector in First Phase of Qatarization Program

Doha: The Ministry of Labor launched the first phase of the Qatarization program for jobs in the private sector, enabling all job seekers to apply for jobs available in private sector companies.

In this context, the Ministry revealed that it has offered 444 jobs in 48 private sector companies in various disciplines through the national employment platform ‘Kawader’ according to the competencies in the Qatarization of jobs in the private sector.

The Ministry called on Qatari job seekers and those wishing to work in the private sector to apply for jobs offered through the aforementioned national platform for employment and to take advantage of the benefits offered by private sector establishments to citizens within the Qatarization program. The Ministry stresses its keenness to provide all facilities and incentives that would encourage citizens to engage with major private sector companies and to provide an exemplary work environment.

The Ministry indicated that it is developing plans and policies, consulting with private sector institutions, increasing the percentage of Qatarization of jobs through the qualification and training of nationals, and studying the relevant legislative options.

The Ministry is closely following the obstacles that citizens may face in their work for the local private sector establishments and companies and stressed that it is open to receiving any complaints regarding the Qatarization of jobs in the private sector.

The Ministry of Labor indicated that it will intensify supervision over private sector companies to ensure the implementation of policies and plans for the Qatarization of jobs and to benefit the national workforce. In this regard, it explained its contribution during the last three months of last year by appointing about 230 citizens to various jobs in the private sector, as well as the appointment of 55 children of Qatari women.

The launch of the first phase of the Qatarization program for jobs in the private sector comes as one of the main priorities of the Ministry of Labor aimed at benefiting from the national workforce and opening new horizons in major private sector companies.

وكشفت الوزارة في هذا السياق عن طرحها 444 وظيفة في 48 شركة من شركات القطاع الخاص بمختلف التخصصات عبر المنصة الوطنية للتوظيف /كوادر/ ، وفقاً لاختصاصاتها في توطين الوظائف بالقطاع الخاص.

ودعت الوزارة القطريين والقطريات الباحثين عن عمل والراغبين بالعمل في القطاع الخاص، إلى التقدم إلى الوظائف المطروحة عبر المنصة الوطنية المذكورة للتوظيف، والاستفادة من المزايا التي تقدمها منشآت القطاع الخاص للمواطنين ضمن برنامج توطين الوظائف ، مؤكدة حرصها الشديد على تقديم كافة التسهيلات والحوافز التي من شأنها تشجيع المواطنين للانخراط بالعمل لدى كبرى شركات القطاع الخاص، وتوفير بيئة عمل نموذجية.

وأوضحت الوزارة أنها تعكف على تطوير الخطط والسياسات، والتشاور مع مؤسسات القطاع الخاص، لزيادة نسب توطين الوظائف من خلال تأهيل وتدريب الكوادر الوطنية، بالإضافة إلى دراسة الخيارات التشريعية ذات الصلة.

وأشارت إلى أنها تتابع عن كثب العوائق التي قد تواجه المواطنين والمواطنات في عملهم لدى منشآت وشركات القطاع الخاص المحلي، وأكدت أن أبوابها مفتوحة لاستقبال أية شكاوى تخص توطين الوظائف في القطاع الخاص.

ولفتت وزارة العمل إلى أنها ستكثف الرقابة على شركات القطاع الخاص، بما يضمن تنفيذ سياسات وخطط توطين الوظائف والاستفادة من القوى العاملة الوطنية، موضحة في هذا الصدد مساهمتها خلال الأشهر الثلاثة الأخيرة من العام الماضي بتعيين نحو230 مواطناً ومواطنة في وظائف مختلفة في القطاع الخاص، فضلا عن تعيين 55 من أبناء القطريات.

يأتي إطلاق المرحلة الأولى من برنامج توطين الوظائف في القطاع الخاص، باعتباره أحد الأولويات الرئيسية لوزارة العمل الهادفة إلى الاستفادة من القوى العاملة الوطنية، وفتح ا?فاق جديدة في كبرى شركات القطاع الخاص.
