Dukhan Bank Wins MEED 2021 Award for Best Use of Machine Learning Category

Doha: Dukhan Bank, has been ‘Highly Commended’ in the Best Use of Machine Learning category at the 2021 Retail Banker International Trailblazer Awards organized in partnership with MEED, which recognize best in class retail banking institutions and individuals for their innovative service offering and commitment to customer excellence. It is the first Middle Eastern bank to have been awarded.

This honor recognizes the advanced capabilities of the Bank’s interactive virtual assistant ‘Rashid’ that responds to customers questions on products and services, using machine learning techniques to develop an increasingly powerful understanding of phrasing and context, so as to provide more relevant and intelligent answers.

Dukhan Bank is the first banking institution in the Middle East to receive this award, which celebrates best-in-class banking institutions and individuals for innovative services and commitment to improving customer experience.

واعتبر البنك، في بيان، أن هذه الجائزة تمثل تقديرا للإمكانيات المتطورة التي يتمتع بها المساعد الافتراضي لبنك دخان “راشد”، لتفاعله مع العملاء آليا، ورده على مختلف أسئلتهم حول المنتجات والخدمات المصرفية للبنك باستخدام تقنيات التعلم الآلي لتطوير فهم قوي للكلمات والسياق حتى يتمكن من تقديم إجابات دقيقة وبشكل فوري.

ويعد /بنك دخان/ أول مؤسسة مصرفية في الشرق الأوسط تحصل على هذه الجائزة التي تحتفي بأفضل المؤسسات المصرفية والأفراد في فئتها عن الخدمات المبتكرة والالتزام بتحسين تجربة العملاء.

كما يعتبر البنك نتاجا لأول عملية اندماج يشهدها القطاع المصرفي في قطر، والتي جمعت بين /بنك بروة/ و/بنك قطر الدولي/ في عام 2019 ، ويبلغ إجمالي أصوله 75.4 مليار ريال قطري.
