Shura Council Holds Regular Weekly Meeting

Doha: The Shura Council held Monday its regular weekly meeting, under the chairmanship of HE Speaker of the Council Hassan bin Abdullah Al Ghanim via videoconferencing at the Council’s headquarters.
At the outset of the session, HE Secretary-General of the Shura Council Dr. Ahmed bin Nasser Al Fadhala read out the agenda of the session. The minutes of the previous session were ratified.
During the session, the members discussed a number of issues related to the functioning of the Council and the work of its committees from an organizational point of view. The Council took the appropriate decisions regarding the matter.
Additionally, the Council approved a request to extend the work of the Services and the Public Utilities Committee to study a draft law on the temporary expropriation and appropriation of real estate for the public benefit and Law No. 2 of 2007 on the housing system.

الدوحة: عقد مجلس الشورى يوم الأمس جلسته الأسبوعية العادية برئاسة سعادة السيد حسن بن عبدالله الغانم رئيس المجلس، وذلك عبر تقنية الاتصال المرئي بمقر المجلس .
في بداية الجلسة، تلا سعادة الدكتور أحمد بن ناصر الفضالة الأمين العام لمجلس الشورى جدول أعمال الجلسة. وتم التصديق على محضر الجلسة السابقة.
وخلال الجلسة، ناقش السادة الأعضاء عدداً من الموضوعات المتعلقة بسير عمل المجلس، وعمل لجانه من الناحية التنظيمية، واتخذ المجلس بشأنها القرارات المناسبة.
كما وافق المجلس على طلب تمديد أعمال لجنة الخدمات والمرافق العامة، لدراسة مشروع قانون بشأن نزع ملكية العقارات والاستيلاء عليها مؤقتاً للمنفعة العامة، ودراسة قانون رقم (2) لسنة 2007 بنظام الإسكان.
