City of Death – Russia

The strangest place in the world you’ll hear about is the City of Death or the City of Dargavis, as the Russians call it in their language. It is a small village built within a mountain in Russia, which needs 3 hours of walking to be reached in foggy weather and narrow and rugged roads.

The village is characterized by the fact that all the village buildings are covered with a wide range of small white buildings that look like shrines inside cemeteries.

The reason for naming the village as the City of Death is that the buildings have a roof in the form of a casket in which the city’s inhabitants and relatives are buried, and the more dead, the higher the dome of the building in which they are buried.

One of the traditions and customs of the village since the 16th century is that everyone must have their own shrine. The village was once used as a cemetery for the city, so if someone lost all his relatives, he had to go to the City of Death to spend the rest of his life and wait to die there.

جزيرة الدمى – المكسيك

مدينة الموت – روسيا

أغرب الأماكن في العالم التي ستسمع عنها هي مدينة الموت أو مدينة دارغافس كما يطلق عليها الروس في لغتهم. وهي قرية صغيرة مشيدة داخل جبل في روسيا، يحتاج الوصول إليها السير مدة 3 ساعات في طقس ضبابي وطرق ضيقة ووعرة.

وتتميز القرية بأن كل أبنية القرية مغطاة بمجموعة كبيرة من الأبنية البيضاء الصغيرة والتي تبدو كأضرحة داخل المقابر.

ويرجع سبب تسمية القرية بمدينة الموت أن المباني لها سقف على شكل تابوت يدفن فيه سكان المدينة أحباءهم وأقاربهم، وكلما زاد عدد المتوفين، كلما ارتفعت قبة المبنى الذي يدفنون فيه.

كما أن من تقاليد القرية وعاداتها منذ القرن 16، لابد من أن يكون لكل شخص ضريح خاص به. كانت القرية قديمًا تستخدم كمقبرة للمدينة، ولذلك إذا فقد شخص كل أقاربه عليه الذهاب لمدينة الموت لقضاء ما تبقى من عمره وانتظار الموت هناك.

وهناك أسطورة تقول إن جميع زوار مدينة الموت، لن يخرجوا منها أحياء وسيلقون حتفهم ويدفنون بها.

ممر العمالقة – أيرلندا الشمالية

يقع ممر العمالقة في مقاطعة أنترم على الساحل الشمالي الشرقي من أيرلندا الشمالية، وهو عبارة عن منطقة تتألف من أكثر من 40,000 عمود من البازلت المتداخلة فيما بينها والناجمة عن ثوران بركاني قديم. وقد تم ضم ممر العمالقة إلى قائمة مواقع التراث العالمي لمنظمة اليونسكو سنة 1986، كما أدرج بوصفه محمية طبيعية وطنية سنة 1987 من قبل وزارة البيئة في أيرلندا الشمالية. وقد تعرف السياح للمرة الأولى على ممر العمالقة خلال القرن التاسع عشر، ولا يزال إلى اليوم يستقبل آلاف الزوار القادمين من كل أنحاء العالم للتعرف على واحد من أغرب الأماكن في العالم.

حائط العلكة – سياتل

من بين الأماكن التي اكتسبت شهرة واسعة حول العالم، حائط العلكة في سياتل، قد يكون هذا المكان مقززًا بعض الشيء. لا تستغرب عزيزي القارئ فهذا الحائط يستقطب العديد من السياح الذين يقومون بزيارة ولاية سياتل خصيصًا لمشاهدته عن قرب، علمًا أنه يوصف بأكثر الأماكن السياحية تلوثًا بالجراثيم. ويعود تاريخ إنشائه إلى عام 1993 حين كان رواد مسرح يقع بالقرب منه يقومون بإلصاق العلكة عليه خلال انتظارهم للدخول إلى المسرح.

وشيئًا فشيئًا تحول الحائط إلى جدار تشكيلي بألوان زاهية، ووسط دعوات من قبل وسائل الإعلام المحلية، قامت بلدية سياتل بتنظيفه مرتين، اعترض السكان المحليون والسياح، الأمر الذي دفع البلدية إلى التوقف عن تنظيفه مجددًا، إذ كان المعترضون يرون فيه قطعة فنية فريدة من نوعها، مما زاد الاهتمام به ليستقطب المزيد من السياح.

غابة الأحجار – الصين

غابة الأحجار أو غابة شيلين كما يطلق عليها الصينيون، واحدة من أغرب الأماكن في العالم، فهي من العجائب الجيولوجية التي لا يشبهها شيء. تقع الغابة في إقليم يونان بولاية كونمينغ في الصين.

وتتميز بمناخ شبه استوائي. تتكون غابة الأحجار من الحجر الجيري الذي نحتته المياه عبر العصور الجيولوجية المختلفة.

تمتد الغابة على مساحة 350 كيلومترًا على 140 ميلًا، وتقسم إلى سبع مناطق. تحتوي غابة الأحجار على الكهوف والوديان، بالإضافة إلى الجداول المائية والشلالات، كما تضم مجموعة من النباتات النادرة وبعض الطيور والحيوانات المهددة بالانقراض.

خطوط نازكا – جنوب بيرو

تقع خطوط نازكا في صحراء نازكا جنوب بيرو وهي سلسلة من النقوش الصخرية القديمة التي تمتد على هضبة قاحلة مساحتها تفوق 80 كيلومترًا بين بلدتي نازكا وبالبا على مسافة 400 كم من جنوب ليما. وتمثل هذه الخطوط أشكالًا لحيوانات وطيور يعتقد أنها تعود لحضارة نازكا بين عامي 400 و650، وقد أدرجتها منظمة اليونسكو سنة 1994 ضمن مواقع التراث العالمي. وتستقطب السياح من كل أرجاء العالم لكونها من أجمل وأغرب الأماكن التي يمكن للمرء زيارتها.

متحف الشعر – تركيا

كان صانع الفخار التركي «شي غالب» لديه مشروع يحلم بتحقيقه، وقد بدأ ذلك المشروع كورشة لصنع الفخار، إلا أن ذلك المشروع تحول فيما بعد إلى أحد أغرب الأماكن السياحية أو المتاحف بالتحديد.

إنه متحف الشعر، وهو كهف صغير عميق مظلم في منطقة أفانوس ومصنف ضمن أحد أغرب أماكن السياحية في تركيا، يحتوي على عينات شعر وأسماء وعناوين أكثر من 16 ألف امرأة من جميع أنحاء العالم.
