Top aspirations for 2022: The completion of infrastructure projects

Doha: A number of citizens expressed the hope that the Public Works Authority (Ashghal) will complete all road projects and infrastructure under way in 2022 In order to end their suffering with the crowding, closures and transfers that exist, especially inside al-Farjan.

Citizens called on the works Authority, via Al-Raya, to tighten control over companies working in road and infrastructure projects and to take measures to prevent the participation of non-compliant companies in future projects implemented by Ashghal.

Citizens expressed the hope that Ashghal would be more interested in the infrastructure of the outer areas, pointing to a major surge in paving and beautifying streets and the opening of many highways over the past years.

They also called for greater attention to citizens’ complaints and for them to be resolved quickly, stressing that although complaints can be easily reported over the hotline, they takes a long time to be resolved.

They stressed the need to pay attention to the placement of road signs for traffic closures and diversions, and to work on placing them in prominent locations that allow vehicle drivers to easily see them from a sufficient distance so as not to be exposed to traffic accidents.

Economic reports confirm that awarding bids and contracts related to the state’s draft general budget for the fiscal year 2022, which will focus on completing the implementation of strategic projects to achieve Qatar National Vision 2030, will lead to the development of more partnerships and create more investment and trade opportunities between Qatari companies and regional and international investors in various sectors, ranging from real estate to services and finance, to retail, tourism and other facilities.

الدوحة: عبّرَ عددٌ من المُواطنين عن أملِهم في أن تنتهيَ هيئةُ الأشغال العامة «أشغال» في العام الحالي 2022 من جميع مشاريع الطرق والبنية التحتيّة الجاري تنفيذُها حتى تنتهي مُعاناتهم مع الزحام الذي يشهده العديدُ من المواقع نتيجة للإغلاقات والتحويلات الكثيرة الموجودة خاصةً داخل الفرجان.

ودعا المُواطنون عبر الراية هيئةَ «أشغال» لتشديد الرّقابة على الشركات العاملة في مشروعات الطرق والبنية التحتية واتخاذ الإجراءات الكفيلة بمنع مشاركة الشركات غير الملتزمة منها في المشاريع المستقبليّة التي تنفذها الهيئة.

وأعربَ المُواطنون عن أملهم في اهتمام الهيئة بشكل أكبر بالبنية التحتيّة للمناطق الخارجية، لافتين إلى حدوث طفرة كبيرة في رصف وتجميل الشّوارع وافتتاح العديد من الطرق السّريعة خلال السنوات الماضية.

كما طالبوا بالاهتمام بشكاوى المُواطنين بشكل أكبر والعمل على حلّها سريعًا، مؤكّدين أنه رغم سهولة الإبلاغ عن الشكاوى عبر الخط الساخن إلا أنّ حلّ تلك المشكلات يستغرق وقتًا طويلًا.

وشدّدوا على ضرورة الاهتمام بأماكن وضع اللوحات الإرشاديّة الخاصة بالإغلاقات والتحويلات المروريّة والعمل على وضعها في مواقع بارزة تتيح لقائدي المركبات رؤيتها بسهولةٍ من مسافة كافية حتى لا يتعرّضوا للحوادث المروريّة. وتؤكّد التقاريرُ الاقتصادية أنَّ منح العطاءات والعقود المُرتبطة بمشروع الموازنة العامة للدولة للسنة المالية 2022، التي ستركّز على استكمال تنفيذ المشاريع الاستراتيجيّة لتحقيق رؤية قطر الوطنية 2030، ستُؤدّي إلى تطوير مزيدٍ من الشراكات وإحداث مزيدٍ من الفرص الاستثمارية والتجارية بين الشركات القطرية والمُستثمرين الإقليميّين والعالميّين في قطاعات مُختلفة بدءًا من العقارات مرورًا بالخدمات والتمويل، ووصولًا إلى التّجزئة والسياحة والمرافق الأخرى.
