SpaceX Launches 54 Starlink Satellites

Washington: The American Space Exploration Technologies Corporation (SpaceX) launched 54 Starlink satellites into space.
SpaceX remarked that the Falcon 9 rocket that holds the satellites was launched Saturday night out of Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.
The first phase of the rocket returned to Earth successfully after about eight minutes and 50 seconds, landing on SpaceX’s spacecraft, which was stationed in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Florida.
SpaceX explained that this batch of Starlink satellites will be the last 1.5 version, as the company moved to use the 2 satellite version, which was aboard the Falcon 9 rocket launched last Sunday evening.
The rocket was supposed to be launched last Friday, but was postponed due to high levels of liquid oxygen on the rocket’s first stage engines.

وأفادت المؤسسة في بيان، بأن صاروخ /فالكون 9/ الذي يحمل الأقمار الصناعية، أطلق مساء أمس، من قاعدة مطار /كيب كانافيرال/ الفضائي في ولاية /فلوريدا/ الأمريكية.
وأشار البيان إلى أن المرحلة الأولى من الصاروخ عادت إلى الأرض بنجاح بعد حوالي ثماني دقائق و50 ثانية ، وهبطت على متن طائرة بدون طيار تابعة لشركة /سبيس إكس/، كانت تتمركز في المحيط الأطلسي قبالة ساحل فلوريدا.
وأوضحت /سبيس إكس/ أن هذه الدفعة من أقمار /ستارلينك/ هي آخر دفعة من الإصدار 1.5، حيث انتقلت الشركة إلى استخدام الإصدار 2 من الأقمار الصناعية ، التي كانت على متن صاروخ /فالكون 9/ الذي أطلق مساء الأحد الماضي.
وكان من المفترض أن يتم إطلاق الصاروخ يوم الجمعة الماضي و لكن تم تأجيله بسبب ارتفاع مستويات الأكسجين السائل على محركات المرحلة الأولى من الصاروخ.
