Happy Game is Not for the faint-hearted

Berlin: There’s a saying about not judging a book by its cover, but nowadays there should be one about not judging any computer game by its name. “Happy Game” might make one expect it to be a light game of fun, but it is not like that at all. The game -developed by Amanita Design, famous for its family-friendly games like Machinarium and Samorost- is a horror game rather than a fun game.
Happy Game focuses on a little boy who falls asleep to a horrible nightmare. The things he lost, like a ball or a teddy bear, suddenly reappear in this nightmare, but in order to get them back to real life, he must go through a series of powerful adventures and solve difficult puzzles.
When it comes to violence, Happy Game does not hold back, as it contains blood, corpses and even a guillotine, without changing its bloody nature with smiling faces and colorful rabbits.

تركز لعبة «هابي جيم» على طفل صغير يواجه كابوسًا قويًا. وتعود الأشياء التي فقدها مثل كرة أو دمية دب، إلى الظهور بشكل مُفاجئ في هذا الكابوس، لكنه لكي يستعيدها إلى الحياة الواقعية، يجب أن يمر بمجموعة من المغامرات القوية ويحل ألغازًا صعبة.
وعندما يتعلق الأمر بالعنف، فإن لعبة «هابي جيم» لا تتراجع عنه، فهي تحتوي على دماء وجثث وحتى مقصلة، دون أن يغير من طبيعتها الدامية وجود وجوه مبتسمة وأرانب ملوّنة.
