* Stay away from personal questions and relatives’ names
* Place a question you can remember or point to what it indicates.
Other Tips
* Don’t use a password that is the same as your username or email address.
* Keep privacy settings at a high level.
* Do not enter your real data when attempting to log in to any unknown site.
* Always use an anti-virus program and keep it updated.
* Use different passwords for your other accounts, and change them more frequently.
* Verify the rights of applications on which you are logged on to via social networking sites.
If your accounts have been hacked
* Call the Cybercrime Department at 2347444
* Try recovering it with the two-factor authentication, security questions or backup email.
* Change passwords for personal mail and related accounts.
* Don’t worry about financial blackmail exercised by some programmers to recover your accounts.

* ضرورة استخدام برنامج لمكافحة الفيروسات، والحرص على تحديثه دوماً.
* استخدام كلمات مرور مختلفة لحساباتك الأخرى، وغيرها بشكل مستمر.
* التأكد من صلاحيات التطبيقات المسجل الدخول بها بواسطة مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي.
في حال تم اختراق حساباتك
* قم بإبلاغ قسم الجرائم الإلكترونية بالاتصال على الرقم 2347444.
* حاول استرداده بالمصادقة الثنائية أو أسئلة الأمان أو عبر البريد الإلكتروني الاحتياطي.
* قم بتغيير كلمات المرور للبريد الشخصي وللحسابات المرتبطة به.
* لا تكترث للابتزاز المالي المطلوب من قبل بعض المبرمجين لاسترداد حساباتك.
