YouTube to Launch Its Own Application for Apple “Vision Pro”

Washington: YouTube intends to launch its own application that works through Apples new “Vision Pro” glasses.
YouTube spokesperson Jessica Gibby said in a statement that the development of a native Vision Pro application is on the company’s roadmap, although no release date was disclosed. “YouTube is excited to launch Apple Glasses, and at the present time YouTube users can get a great viewing experience through the Safari browser, in the absence of the official YouTube application”, she added.
YouTube had refused to make its YouTube application available for Apple Glasses before its launch. Indeed, Apple offered the ability to run the iPad version of the application, but that proposal was rejected, as did Netflix and Spotify, which refused to make their applications available for the Glasses at the present time.
It is not yet known why YouTube changed its view on providing an application for Apple Glass, but one of the explanations behind this is the popularity of an application called (Juno), which is an unofficial application that allows access to YouTube via the glasses.
Platform users hope that the YouTube application in glasses will contribute to making it possible to watch videos with virtual reality and (360-degree) technologies, in addition to 3D videos published on the platform in a convenient manner.
YouTube users cannot watch virtual reality videos on the platform via the Safari browser on the glasses, because it does not support the WebXR standard, which allows viewing those clips.

وكانت /يوتيوب/ قد رفضت إتاحة تطبيق يوتيوب الخاص بها لنظارة آبل قبل إطلاقها، إذ عرضت آبل إمكانية تشغيل نسخة آيباد من التطبيق، لكن قوبل ذلك الاقتراح بالرفض كما فعلت نتفلكس وسبوتيفاي، اللتان رفضتا إتاحة تطبيقاتهما في الوقت الحالي للنظارة.
ولا يعرف حتى الآن سبب تغير وجهة نظر /يوتيوب/ في إتاحة تطبيق لنظارة آبل، لكن أحد التفسيرات وراء ذلك هو شعبية تطبيق يدعى (Juno)، وهو تطبيق غير رسمي يتيح الوصول إلى /يوتيوب/ عبر النظارة.
ويأمل مستخدمو المنصة أن يسهم تطبيق يوتيوب في النظارة في إتاحة مشاهدة مقاطع الفيديو بتقنيات الواقع الافتراضي و(360 درجة)، بالإضافة إلى مقاطع الفيديو الثلاثية الأبعاد المنشورة في المنصة على نحو ملائم.
ولا يستطيع مستخدمو /يوتيوب/ مشاهدة مقاطع فيديو الواقع الافتراضي في المنصة عبر متصفح سفاري في النظارة، لأنه لا يدعم معيار (WebXR) الذي يسمح بعرض تلك المقاطع.
