Qatar and Italy review bilateral relations

Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met at the Amiri Diwan yesterday with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of the Italian Republic, Matteo Salvini, and his accompanying delegation who called on H H the Amir to greet him on the occasion of his visit to the country to attend the 12th edition of the International Exhibition of Homeland Security and Civil Defence (Milipol Qatar 2018).

During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations and means to strengthen them as well as the latest developments in the regional and international arenas. The meeting was attended by Prime Minister and Interior Minister H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani.

استقبل حضرة صاحب السمو الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني أمير البلاد المفدى، في مكتبه بالديوان الأميري، صباح أمس، سعادة السيد ماتيو سالفيني نائب رئيس الوزراء وزير الداخلية بالجمهورية الإيطالية، والوفد المرافق له، وذلك للسلام على سموه بمناسبة زيارته للبلاد، لحضور المعرض الدولي الثاني عشر للأمن الداخلي والدفاع المدني «ميليبول قطر 2018».

تم خلال المقابلة استعراض العلاقات الثنائية وأوجه تعزيزها، كما تم تناول آخر المستجدات على الساحتين الإقليمية والدولية. حضر المقابلة معالي الشيخ عبدالله بن ناصر بن خليفة آل ثاني رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الداخلية.;
