Qatari Adventurer Explores Europe and Asia to Support the Next Asian Cup!

Doha: Qatari traveler Sa’eed Al-Murri has returned to Doha after a nearly four-month journey, driving his car from France, crossing continents of Europe and Asia, until reaching Doha. This journey aimed to promote and support the upcoming Asian Football Cup, which Qatar will host at the beginning of next year.

The adventure of Al-Murri kicked off at the Lusail Circuit, where he set off from Doha on May 2nd of last year, on an expedition that lasted until August 4th of the current year.

During the 92-day journey, Al-Murri visited numerous capitals in his private car, covering a distance of 22,845 kilometers.

In statements to Al-Kass sports channels, Al-Murri said, “The journey is an invitation to countries to attend the Asian Cup, which is a mini version of the 2022 World Cup.” He added that he delivered his message to European, Arab, and Gulf countries, overcoming some difficulties along the way.

الدوحة: عاد المسافر القطري سعيد المري إلى الدوحة بعد رحلة استغرقت قرابة أربعة أشهر، قاد خلالها سيارته من فرنسا وعبر قارات أوروبا وآسيا حتى الوصول إلى الدوحة. كانت هذه الرحلة تهدف إلى الترويج والدعم لنهائيات كأس آسيا لكرة القدم المقرر إقامتها في قطر مطلع العام المقبل.

احتضنت حلبة لوسيل مغامرة القطري المري، الذي انطلق من الدوحة في الثاني من شهر مايو الماضي، في رحلة استمرت حتى الرابع من أغسطس الحالي.

خلال ٩٢ يومًا، قطع المري مسافة تجاوزت ٢٢٨٤٥ كيلومترًا، زار خلالها عددًا من عواصم الدول على متن سيارته الخاصة.

وصرح المري لقنوات الكأس قائلاً: “الرحلة تُعَدُّ دعوةً للدول لحضور كأس آسيا، وهي نسخة مصغرة لكأس العالم ٢٠٢٢.” وأضاف أنه وصل برسالته إلى دول أوروبا والدول العربية والخليجية، رغم بعض الصعوبات التي تجاوزها.
