Siwar Al Shaqab Crowned Junior Filly World Champion In Paris
سوار الشقب تتوّج بذهبيّة المهرات في باريس
Dec 14 – Siwar Al Shaqab delivered a stunning performance of grace and style to earn the prestigious title of Junior Filly World Champion at the 2021 Arabian Horse World Championship, which took place in Paris, from December 10-12.
The tremendous triumph caps an outstanding year for the exquisite Arabian filly bred by Al Shaqab, member of Qatar Foundation, and her celebrated handler, Raphael Curti, with the duo reaping the rewards of their long-term relationship. They also tasted success in July, when Siwar was crowned Gold Champion Junior Filly at the Mediterranean & Arab Countries Arabian Horse Championship in Menton, France. Paris, however, represents the pinnacle for the pair in 2021.
Sired by SMA Magic One, out of multiple-title winning mare Abha Myra, and the half sister of Fadi Al Shaqab, one of Al Shaqab’s magnificent seven world champion stallions, Siwar stepped into the Paris arena with lofty ambitions. The qualifying classes proved challenging, but Siwar prevailed to take third place, booking her place in the championship round.
And it seems she saved her best for last. Superbly led by Curti, she didn’t miss a step. Living up to her impressive pedigree, Siwar mesmerized the judges and the audience with her beauty and movement. Her face and neck received many scores, helping Siwar to continue her prize-winning form to win the ultimate title.
Khalid Al Jehani, Manager, Al Shaqab Breeding & Show Department, could not contain his excitement at Siwar’s spectacular achievement. Speaking from Paris after the event, he said: “Today, we have achieved what seemed impossible yesterday. Siwar Al Shaqab’s is Paris’ newest reigning Junior Filly World Champion!
“Siwar produced a simply outstanding display, and fully deserved her championship victory. I am delighted with Al Shaqab’s performances in Paris. I must express my gratitude to the team who worked so hard to get us to this point. And a special mention to Raphael Curti, who was entrusted with preparing and showing Siwar, and delivered above and beyond expectation.”
The victorious performance by Al Shaqab highlighted, once again, the premium standing of the world-class equestrian center’s distinguished breeding program. Al Shaqab has produced several Arabian stallions and mares that have emerged victorious at local and international shows, including three generations of world champion stallions.
14 ديسمبر – قدّمت سوار الشقب عرضا مذهلا في الأناقة والأسلوب، ونجحت في انتزاع الذهب ضمن فئة المهرات صغيرة السن، خلال مشاركتها في بطولة العالم لجمال الخيل العربيّة لعام 2021، والتي أقيمت في باريس، في الفترة من 10 إلى 12 ديسمبر.
يأتي هذا الانتصار الكبير ليتوّج هذا العام الاستثنائيّ للمهرة الرائعة ومدربها رافييل كورتي، اللذين حصدا ثمار جهدهما الكبير ليتكلّل بالنجاح في باريس. كما حقّق هذا الثنائيّ الرائع انتصارا هامّا في شهر يوليو الماضي، حين توّجت سوار الشقب بالذهب عن فئة المهرات في بطولة جمال الخيل العربيّة الأصيلة لبلدان البحر المتوسط والبلدان العربية لعام 2021، التي أقيمت في منتون، في باريس.
وقد دخلت سوار الشقب – من سلالة (إس إم إي ماجيك وان X أبها ماريا)، والأخت غير الشقيقة لفادي الشقب، أحد فحول الشقب السبعة الذين توّجوا أبطالا للعالم في عديد المرات – إلى ميدان المنافسة في باريس بثقة عالية وطموح كبير، وقدّمت عرضا رائعا. وعلى الرغم من المنافسة المُحتدمة، إلاّ أنّ سوار الشقب نجحت في إحراز المركز الثالث في الأدوار التأهيليّة، لتحجز مكانا لها في الأدوار النهائيّة للبطولة.
وقد بدى واضحا أنّها ادّخرت أفضل ما لديها للأدوار النهائيّة، حيث قدّمت بقيادة مدربها كورتي أداء متميّزا يليق بنسبها الرفيع، ونالت إعجاب الحضور والحكّام، وقد احتُسبت نقاط عالية للوجه والرقبة، مما منحها الفوز باللقب الغالي.
وفي هذا السياق، قال السيد خالد الجهني، مدير إدارة الإنتاج وجمال الخيل في الشقب: “اليوم حققنا ما بدى مستحيلا بالأمس، ونفخر بأن تكون سوار الشقب هي بطلة العالم ضمن فئة المهرات في باريس.” وتابع قائلا: “لقد قدّمت سوار الشقب أداء رائعا، وقد فازت باللقب عن جدارة واستحقاق. لقد سُررت بالأداء الذي قدّمه الشقب في باريس، وأودّ أن أتقدّم بالشكر الجزيل لأعضاء الفريق الذين عملوا بجدّ للوصول إلى هذا المستوى. كما أتقدّم بشكر خاصّ للمدرب القدير رافييل كورتي، الذي لم يدّخر جهدا في تدريب سوار وإعدادها للمشاركة وتقديم أداء فاق كلّ التوقعات.”
لقد برهن الأداء الرائع الذي قدّمه الشقب، على المكانة الرفيعة التي يتمتعّ بها برنامج الإنتاج في الشقب، والذي يُعدّ واحدا من بين الأفضل على الإطلاق على مستوى العالم. هذا، ويفخر الشقب بتقديمه العديد من الفحول والأفراس البطلة التي تمّكنت من إحراز العديد من الألقاب العالميّة والمحليّة في كبرى بطولات الفروسيّة، مقدّما للعالم ثلاثة أجيال من الفحول الأبطال.
