MoI: A number of residency violators arrested, expired food storage seized

A joint campaign by the ministries of Interior, Municipality and Commerce and industry seized an expired food pantry and a number of violators of the residence.
The ministry of Municipality said on its website that the joint campaign carried out by the municipal sector, the departments of research, follow-up and Fazaa of the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, resulted in the seizure of a violating food store in the area of Berkat al-Awamar.
It added: According to Information received, a company stored and was repackaging expired food items, as well as employing a number of violators of the residence, noting that when entering the site, expired food items and packaging devices were seized, and a number of violators of residence and the necessary legal action was taken by the competent authorities.
The Ministry of Municipality called on the owners and operators of food establishments to abide by the laws governing the work of these facilities, the instructions of the competent regulators to avoid legal accountability and to preserve the health and safety of all members of the community.
For his part, Captain Omar Khalifa Maaouf al-Rumaihi, head of the research and investigation department of the Ministry of Interior’s Research and Follow-up Department, urged the public to abide by the laws of Qatar and cooperate with the competent authorities in the state in monitoring and controlling violators by reporting them through direct contact or through the telephone numbers assigned to it.
He stressed the need to avoid housing or covering up offenders in order not to fall under legal accountability in order to reach a safe society which implications are reflected on citizens and residents alike.

ضبطت حملة مشتركة بين وزارات الداخلية والبلدية والتجارة والصناعة مخزن مواد غذائية منتهية الصلاحية وعدد من المخالفين للإقامة.
وقالت وزارة البلدية عبر موقعها الإلكتروني إن الحملة المشتركة التي نفذها قطاع البلديات، وإدارتي البحث والمتابعة والفزعة بوزارة الداخلية، ووزارة التجارة والصناعة، أسفرت عن ضبط مخزن أغذية مخالف بمنطقة بركة العوامر.
وأضافت: كانت معلومات قد وردت بقيام إحدى الشركات بتخزين وإعادة تعبئة مواعد غذائية منتهية الصلاحية، وكذلك تشغيل عدد من المخالفين للإقامة، مشيرة إلى أنه عند دخول الموقع، تم ضبط مواد غذائية منتهية الصلاحية وأجهزة التعبئة والتغليف، وعدد من المخالفين للإقامة واتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية اللازمة من قبل الجهات المختصة.
وأهابت وزارة البلدية بأصحاب المنشآت الغذائية والقائمين عليها، الالتزام بالقوانين المنظمة لعمل تلك المنشآت، وبتعليمات الجهات الرقابية المختصة تجنباً للمساءلة القانونية، وحفاظاً على صحة وسلامة جميع أفراد المجتمع.
من جهته، حثَّ النقيب/ عمر خليفة معيوف الرميحي رئيس قسم البحث والتحري بإدارة البحث والمتابعة بوزارة الداخلية الجمهور الكريم على ضرورة الالتزام بقوانين دولة قطر والتعاون مع الجهات المختصة بالدولة في رصد وضبط المخالفين من خلال الإبلاغ عنها وذلك بالاتصال المباشر أو من خلال أرقام الهواتف المخصصة لذلك.
وأكد على ضرورة تجنب إيواء المخالفين أو التستر عليهم لعدم الوقوع تحت المساءلة القانونية وذلك بهدف الوصول إلى مجتمع آمن تنعكس آثاره على المواطنين والمقيمين على حد سواء.
