Doha: Msheireb Properties has added a new accolade to its wide portfolio of international awards by winning the “Best Commercial Project” honor at the prestigious AD Design Awards 2021.
The award reflects the global reputation and credentials of Msheireb Properties in bringing to life one of the world’s smartest and most sustainable city districts, the Msheireb Downtown Doha.
With hundreds of entries across ten categories, Msheireb Downtown Doha by Msheireb Properties and ‘Allies and Morrison’ won the ‘Best Commercial Project’ honor in an intensely competed category for its excellent value-add to commercial entities and retailers. The award also underlines its reputation as a destination that creates long-term value for corporate entities to build their enterprises in one of the most vibrant locations.
The world’s first smart and sustainable downtown regeneration project, Msheireb Downtown Doha embeds smart city technology and connectivity across the development. It outperforms other smart city developments in the world in terms of the resident’s digital experience.
Offering a combination of 193,000 sq meters of commercial spaces and 105,000 square meters of retail spaces, Msheireb Downtown Doha also has residential buildings, mosques, hotels and cultural and educational entities. With more than 10,000 car parking spaces across six underground levels, the city offers easy parking in addition to offering a wayfinding app that helps visitors to spot the car parking easily.
The sustainable aspect of the projects adds great value to the commercial value. All buildings are Gold or Platinum LEED-certified and have implemented practical and measurable strategies and solutions to promote sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency, materials selection and indoor environmental quality.
Msheireb Downtown Doha has one of the highest concentrations of LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified sustainable buildings, making it the world’s first sustainable downtown regeneration project.
The AD Design Awards acknowledge the positivity and resilience that runs throughout the MENA region’s design community.

الدوحة: حصلت مشيرب العقارية على جائزة /أفضل مشروع تجاري/ في الشرق الأوسط، وذلك في حفل جوائز AD للتصميم 2021.
وتعكس الجائزة السمعة العالمية التي تتمتع بها الشركة، حيث طورت مدينة مشيرب قلب الدوحة التي تعد واحدا من أذكى المدن وأكثرها استدامة على مستوى العالم.
وشاركت في الجوائز مئات المشاريع في 10 فئات مختلفة، لتحقق مشيرب العقارية جائزة /أفضل مشروع تجاري/ بعد منافسة قوية وذلك بفضل التميز الكبير والقيمة المضافة التي توفرها للشركات والأعمال التجارية.
كما تعكس الجائزة مكانة مشيرب قلب الدوحة كوجهة رائدة للشركات التجارية لتعزز أعمالها في واحد من أهم المواقع الحيوية في قطر.
وتعتبر مشيرب قلب الدوحة أول مشروع لتطوير وسط مدينة مستدام على مستوى العالم، حيث تجمع تكنولوجيا المدن الذكية وعناصر الاستدامة في جميع جوانبها ومرافقها. وتحقق المدينة تفوقا على المدن الأخرى في العالم خصوصا فيما يتعلق بالمزايا الرقمية التي توفرها للسكان والشركات على حد سواء.
وتضم مشيرب قلب الدوحة مزيجا من 193,000 متر مربع من المساحات التجارية و105,000 متر مربع من مساحات التجزئة، بالإضافة إلى مبان سكنية ومساجد وفنادق ومبان ثقافية وتعليمية. وتوفر أكثر من 10,000 موقف سيارة موزعة على 6 طوابق تحت الأرض لتمنح السكان والزوار مرونة كبيرة لركن سياراتهم وتحديد مكانها بسهولة تامة عبر تطبيقها الذكي.
وتشكل معايير الاستدامة المعتمدة في المدينة قيمة مضافة للجانب التجاري، حيث حصلت جميع المباني على شهادات LEED لكفاءة الطاقة في الفئتين الذهبية والبلاتينية، وتعتمد استراتيجيات عملية وحلول مميزة لتطبيق الاستدامة منها ترشيد استهلاك المياه وكفاءة الطاقة واختيار مواد البناء وجودة البيئة الداخلية في المباني.
وتعتبر مشيرب قلب الدوحة أكبر تجمع لمباني حاصلة على شهادات في العالم لتعزز مكانتها كأول مشروع لتطوير وسط مدينة مستدام في العالم.
يشار إلى أن جوائز AD للتصميم تمنح للشركات في منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال إفريقيا التي تظهر مرونة واعتمادية خلال فترة إنشائها وبعد تشغيلها.
