Doha: “The FIFA World Cup Qatar 2020 Hosting Law, issued on 7/29/2021 AD, deals with violations related to commercial activities, including intellectual property rights and commercial rights owned by the International Football Association “FIFA”. Said lawyer Ahmed Al-Subaie.
In order to ensure FIFA’s exclusive intellectual and commercial property rights, control over the issuance, distribution, and sale of tickets for World Cup matches will be an exclusive process for FIFA, Al-Subaie said during his interview on “Hayatuna” program on Qatar TV.
“If any other unlicensed company practices, without the knowledge of FIFA, issuing the sale and distribution of tickets, this is considered an illegal competition, and the penalty for that violation is up to one year in prison and a fine of up to 500,000 QR.” He continued.

الدوحة: قال المحامي أحمد السبيعي إن قانون تدابير استضافة كأس العالم فيفا قطر 2020 الصادر بتاريخ 29/7/2021 م، يتناول المخالفات المتعلقة بالأنشطة التجارية ومن ضمنها حقوق الملكية الفكرية والحقوق التجارية والتي يمتلكها الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم “فيفا”.
وأوضح المحامي السبيعي خلال استضافته في برنامج حياتنا على تلفزيون قطر، أنه حرصاً على على الحقوق الحصرية للفيفا بخصوص الملكية الفكرية والتجارية، ستكون السيطرة على إصدار وتوزيع وبيع تذاكر مباريات المونديال عملية حصرية لـ “الفيفا”.
وتابع: إذا مارست أي شركة أخرى غير مرخص لها وبدون علم الفيفا إصدار بيع وتوزيع التذاكر فذلك يعتبر منافسة غير مشروعة، وعقوبة تلك المخالفة تصل إلى الحبس لمدة سنة وغرامة مالية تصل إلى 500 ألف ريال.
