Stagnant water pool in front of an electricity room

Doha: Residents of 683rd Street in umm Salaal Mohammed area complained about the existence of a stagnant water pond adjacent to an electricity room bearing the number 27499, stressing that they do not know the reasons behind this catchment, which has been in existence for several weeks.

They called on the concerned body to find a solution and dry it as soon as possible so as not to cause the electricity chamber to malfunction and to avoid the occurrence of a short circuit that may cause someone to be at risk of electrocution, pointing out that the pond has become smelly, in addition to becoming a major cause of the spread of insects and mosquitoes in the houses adjacent to it.

الدوحة: اشتكى سكّانُ شارع 683 بمنطقة أمّ صلال محمد من وجود بركة مياه راكدة تجاور غرفة كهرباء تحمل رقم 27499، مؤكدين أنّهم لا يعلمون الأسباب وراء تجمع هذه البركة التي مر على وجودها عدة أسابيع.

وطالبوا الجهة المعنية بضرورة إيجاد حل لها وتجفيفها في أسرع وقت ممكن حتى لا تؤدي إلى إصابة غرفة الكهرباء بالأعطال ولتفادي حدوث ماس كهربائي قد يصيب أحدهم بخطر الصعق الكهربائيّ، لافتين إلى أنّ البركة أصبحت تصدر روائح كريهة، بالإضافة إلى أنّها أصبحت سببًا رئيسًا لانتشار الحشرات والبعوض في المنازل المُجاورة لها.
