Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and HM Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of the Sultanate of Oman witnessed yesterday at the Amiri Diwan the signing of a number of agreements between the governments of the two countries.
HH the Amir and HM the Sultan witnessed the signing of an agreement on military cooperation that aims to enhance bilateral military cooperation, and agreement on avoiding double taxation and evasion on income taxes and capital levies, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the field of labor and developing human resources, a cooperation agreement in the investment field between Qatar Investment Authority and Oman Investment Authority, a cooperation agreement in the field of tourism and hospitality, an agreement in the field of maritime transport and ports.
The signing ceremony was attended by HH the Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Thani, HH the Personal Representative of HH the Amir Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al-Thani, HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al-Thani, and a number of Their Excellencies the ministers.
On the Omani side, it was attended by HH Deputy Prime Minister for Defense Affairs Shihab bin Tarek Al Said, and Their Excellencies members of the official accompanying delegation.

الدوحة: شهد حضرة صاحب السمو الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني أمير البلاد المفدى وأخوه جلالة السلطان هيثم بن طارق سلطان عمان الشقيقة يوم أمس، التوقيع على عدد من الاتفاقيات بين حكومتي البلدين في الديوان الأميري.
فقد شهد سمو الأمير المفدى وجلالة السلطان، التوقيع على اتفاقية حول التعاون العسكري تهدف إلى تعزيز العلاقات العسكرية بين البلدين، واتفاقية بشأن تجنب الازدواج الضريبي ومنع التهرب من الضرائب بالنسبة للضرائب على الدخل ورأس المال ، ومذكرة تفاهم في مجال العمل وتنمية الموارد البشرية، واتفاقية تعاون في مجال الاستثمار بين جهاز قطر للاستثمار وجهاز عمان للاستثمار، واتفاقية تعاون في مجال السياحة والفنادق، واتفاقية في مجال النقل البحري والموانئ .
حضر مراسم التوقيع سمو الشيخ عبدالله بن حمد آل ثاني نائب الأمير ، وسمو الشيخ جاسم بن حمد آل ثاني الممثل الشخصي للأمير ومعالي الشيخ خالد بن خليفة بن عبدالعزيز آل ثاني رئيس مجلس الوزراء ووزير الداخلية وعدد من أصحاب السعادة الوزراء .
وحضرها من الجانب العماني صاحب السمو السيد شهاب بن طارق آل سعيد نائب رئيس الوزراء لشؤون الدفاع، وأصحاب المعالي أعضاء الوفد الرسمي المرافق.
