Qatari traveler who traveled 3 continents to promote the World Cup .. “Hasaif” passes away

Doha: Social media activist and traveller Ali bin Mohammed al-Marri, known as Hasaif, died last night.

Earlier, hasaif travelled three continents in his car to promote Qatar’s hosting of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Citizens tweeted a video showing the Qatari traveller showing off his car, which read: “Brave people get defeated, cowards don’t even fight.”

Hasaif said that he began his journey from Qatar after Eid al-Fitr, from where he set off for Iran, Azerbaijan, Armenia and Georgia to Turkey.

He explained in the video posted that after the Turkish station he set off passing through Bulgaria, Romania, Greece, Albania, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Hungary, Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, Lithuania and Russia, and then travelled to Poland, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and the Netherlands.

الدوحة: توفي مساء الأمس الناشط في وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي والرحّالة علي بن محمد المري، المعروف باسم “حسايف”.

وفي وقت سابق جاب الرحالة “حسايف” ثلاث قارات على متن سيارته؛ ترويجًا لاستضافة دولة قطر نهائيات كأس العالم لكرة القدم المقررة في 2022 لأول مرة في منطقة الشرق الأوسط.

وتناقل مواطنون حينها، عبر “تويتر” مقطع فيديو يظهر فيه الرحالة القطري وهو يستعرض سيارته التي كتب عليها: “الهزيمة للشجعان فقط الجبناء لا يخوضون المعارك أصلاً”. وقال إنه بدأ رحلته من قطر بعد عيد الفطر المبارك، وانطلق منها إلى إيران ثم أذربيجان وأرمينيا وجورجيا وصولاً إلى تركيا.

وأوضح في الفيديو المنشور أنه بعد محطة تركيا انطلق عابراً دول بلغاريا ورومانيا واليونان وألبانيا وكرواتيا والبوسنة والهرسك وصربيا وهنغاريا وأوكرانيا وبيلاروسيا ومولدوفا وليتوانيا وروسيا، ثم سافر إلى بولندا وألمانيا والدانمارك والسويد والنرويج وهولندا.
