Vodafone carrier billing now available for App Store, Apple Music, iTunes purchases

Doha: Vodafone Qatar’s customers can now pay for App Store, Apple Music and iTunes purchases across Apple devices via carrier billing — providing a safe, secure and versatile payment method to meet Qatar’s growing demand for digital entertainment.
Signing up for carrier billing takes only a few simple steps. Vodafone Qatar customers need to have a new or existing Apple ID, and can select “Carrier Billing” as their payment method from their account settings on App Store, Apple Music and iTunes from their iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and Mac, or on iTunes from their PC.
Once “Carrier Billing” has been selected, all future purchases with the customer’s Apple ID will be automatically charged as part of the monthly carrier bill or directly deducted from the customer’s prepaid account — eliminating the need to use a credit card.
The new payment option will be configured automatically and immediately allow for easy, one-tap purchasing from all Apple devices, including Apple TV and Apple Watch. This includes purchases of apps, music, movies, TV shows, as well as Apple Music subscriptions and iCloud storage. No personal information will be shared with any third parties, making carrier billing both simple and safe to set up and use.
أطلقت شركة «فودافون قطر» خدمة الفوترة لتمكين العملاء من سداد قيمة مشترياتهم من متاجر «App Store» و«Apple Music» و«iTunes» عبر أجهزة «Apple» بطريقة آمنة وموثوقة، وذلك لمواكبة الطلب المتنامي على منتجات الترفيه الرقمي في قطر. ويمكن التسجيل في خدمة الفوترة ببضع خطوات بسيطة؛ حيث يحتاج العميل فقط إلى حساب «Apple ID»، ويمكنه حينها اختيار خدمة الفوترة (Carrier Billing) كطريقة للدفع من إعدادات حسابه على تطبيقات «App Store» و«Apple Music» و«iTunes» عبر أجهزة «iPhone» أو «iPad» أو «iPod touch» أو «Mac» أو حتى عبر تطبيق «iTunes» في جهاز الحاسوب.
وبمجرد اختيار خدمة الفوترة «Carrier Billing»، يتم خصم قيمة المشتريات المستقبلية للعميل تلقائياً باستخدام حسابه على «Apple ID» كجزء من فاتورته الشهرية أو يتم خصمها مباشرة من رصيده المدفوع مسبقاً، مما يلغي الحاجة إلى استخدام بطاقات الائتمان.
وسيتم إعداد خيار الدفع الجديد بشكل تلقائي ليتيح على الفور إنجاز عمليات شراء سهلة بنقرة واحدة من جميع أجهزة «Apple»، بما في ذلك «Apple TV» و«Apple Watch». ويشمل ذلك شراء التطبيقات والموسيقا والأفلام والبرامج التلفزيونية، بالإضافة إلى اشتراكات «Apple Music» والمحتوى المخزن على «iCloud». وتوفر خدمة الفوترة للعملاء طريقة سهلة وآمنة للدفع مع ضمان عدم مشاركة معلوماتهم الشخصية مع أي طرف ثالث.
