Captain Abdul Wahed Gharib Al-Enezi, Officer of the Traffic Awareness Department at the General Directorate of Traffic, confirmed the department’s preparations for the 2021-2022 camping season.
Al-Enezi explained – in an interview with Qatar TV, broadcast by the administration’s account on Twitter – that the General Directorate of Traffic and all departments affiliated with the Ministry of Interior aim to preserve the lives of young people.
The traffic awareness officer indicated that the causes of accidents are due to non-compliance with traffic laws and the absence of traffic awareness, allowing children to rent motorbikes themselves, and driving recklessly without wearing a helmet.
He noted that in Sealine there is a designated area for bikes, and behind it there is a designated place for children to ride their bikes.
Al-Enezi also confirmed that preparations are complete and the patrols are ready for the camping season.

أكد النقيب عبدالواحد غريب العنزي ضابط قسم التوعية والثقافة المرورية بالإدارة العامة للمرور على استعدادات الإدارة لموسم التخييم 2021-2022.
وأوضح العنزي – في مقابلة مع تليفزيون قطر بثها حساب الإدارة على تويتر – أن الإدارة العامة للمرور وجميع الإدارات التابعة لوزارة الداخلية هدفها الحفاظ على أرواح الشباب.
وأشار ضابط التوعية المرورية إلى أن أسباب الحوادث تعود إلى عدم التقييد بقوانين المرور وغياب الثقافة المرورية، والسماح للأبناء بتأجير الدراجات النارية بأنفسهم والقيادة المتهورة مع عدم ارتداء الخوذات.
ونوه إلى أنه في سيلين هناك مكان خاص للدراجات ويوجد خلفه مكان خاص بقيادة الدراجات للأطفال.
كما أكد العنزي أن الاستعدادات تامة والدوريات جاهزة لموسم التخييم.
