The process starts when the new employer applies to add the resident as a worker through MoL’s e-platform. A smart card is needed for identity verification, and the phone number in the request must match the employee’s QID.
Candidates need to register with the National Address and the National Authentication System before entering the Ministry of Labour portal. The Establishment Card (EID) should be active in the system, and there should be no personal suspensions for the new employer.
This new service aims to support local residents and simplify the employment process for private enterprises in Qatar. It aligns with the Ministry’s digital strategy, eliminating the need for physical visits and paperwork submissions.
