Neglected bikes in metro station parking lots

Doha: A number of metro service users have called on relevant authorities to remove neglected bicycles from station parking lots in the Doha area, noting that the owners of these bicycles leave them for a long time and they collect dirt and dust significantly, which results in distorting the aesthetic appearance of the stations.

Al-Raya spotted a large number of neglected bicycles in Doha stations, which have been left there for several weeks, according to a metro user, who confirms that the reason why some leave their bikes in the parking lots of metro stations is due to their use as a means of entertainment by driving them on the streets, and then leaving them in the metro station and return through the use of the metro.

الدوحة: طالبَ عددٌ من مُستخدمي خدمة المترو الجهات المعنيّة بضرورة إزالة الدراجات الهوائية المُهملة من مواقف المحطات الواقعة بمنطقة الدوحة، لافتين إلى أن أصحاب تلك الدراجات يتركونها لفترة طويلة وتتجمع فوقها الأوساخ والأتربة بصورة ملحوظة، وهو ما يترتب عليه تشويه المظهر الجمالي للمحطات.

عدسة الراية رصدت عددًا كبيرًا من الدراجات الهوائية المُهملة في محطات الدوحة، حيث مر على وجودها عدة أسابيع، على حسب أحد مُستخدمي خدمة المترو، الذي يؤكد أن السبب وراء قيام البعض بترك دراجاتهم في مواقف محطات المترو، يعود إلى استخدامها كوسيلة للترفيه عبر قيادتها في الشوارع، ومن ثم تركها في محطة المترو ليعودوا أدراجهم مرة أخرى عبر استخدام المترو.
