Demands to compel transport vehicles to use the right lane

Doha: A number of main road users have called on concerned authority to launch a campaign targeting drivers of large transport vehicles and to force them to drive on the right lane of the road or the adjacent lane and to stay away from the left lane or its adjacent lane, stressing that some of the drivers of these vehicles deliberately drive at a slow speed of up to 60 km/h on a 120 km/h road on the lane adjacent to the highway.

الدوحة: دعا عددٌ من مُستخدمي الطرق الرئيسية الجهات المعنيّة إلى العمل على إطلاق حملة تستهدف سائقي سيارات النقل الكبيرة وإلزامهم بالقيادة في المسار الأيمن من الطريق أو المسار الذي يجاوره والابتعاد عن المسار الأيسر أو المجاور له، مؤكدين أن بعض سائقي تلك المركبات يتعمّدون القيادة بسرعة بطيئة تصل إلى 60 كم في الساعة في طريق سرعته 120 كم في الساعة على المسار المجاور للمسار السريع.
