Ministry Holds Virtual Forum for Distinguished Practices in Schools

Doha: The Arabic Language Section of the Educational Guidance Department at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education held a virtual forum for distinguished practices in schools with the aim of raising the efficiency of primary school students in Arabic language skills.
The virtual forum seeks to promote distinguished practices in the field and exchange experiences between the Arabic language departments.
The participants focused on basic language skills such as reading and writing, as they were well received by everyone for giving priority to the Educational Guidance Department to raise the academic level of students.
At the beginning of the meeting, Head of the Arabic Language Section of the Educational Guidance Department Laila Al Kaabi welcomed the participants and thanked them for the efforts. She urged them to intensify these efforts to raise students’ competency in reading and writing skills, showing the basis for their progress in all subjects.
She pointed out that the meeting is the beginning of several, which will be followed by meetings to present distinguished practices with the aim of exchanging experiences and focusing efforts in order to raise the efficiency of students and compensate for educational losses, especially for primary school students.

الدوحة: عقد قسم اللغة العربية بإدارة التوجيه التربوي بوزارة التربية والتعليم و التعليم العالي، الملتقى الافتراضي للممارسات المميزة في المدارس، بهدف رفع كفاءة طلبة المرحلة الابتدائية في مهارات اللغة العربية . ويسعى هذا الملتقى إلى تعزيز الممارسات المميزة في الميدان وتبادل الخبرات بين أقسام اللغة العربية.
وركزت المشاركات على المهارات اللغوية الأساسية (قراءة وكتابة)، حيث لاقت استحسان الجميع لإعطاء الأولوية في إدارة التوجيه لرفع المستوى الأكاديمي للطلبة.
وفي بداية اللقاء رحبت السيدة ليلى الكعبي رئيسة قسم اللغة العربية بإدارة التوجيه التربوي بالمشاركين وشكرتهم على الجهود المبذولة في الميدان، وحثتهم على تكثيف هذه الجهود لرفع كفاءة الطلبة في مهارات القراءة والكتابة، مبينه الأساس لتقدمهم في المواد جميعها.
وأشارت إلى أن اللقاء هو بداية للقاءات عدّة وسيعقبه لقاءات لعرض ممارسات مميزة بهدف تبادل الخبرات وتركيز الجهود من أجل رفع كفاءة الطلبة وتعويض الفاقد التعليمي خاصة لطلبة المرحلة الابتدائية.
