CCQ Celebrates Graduation of 10th Batch

Doha: The Community College of Qatar (CCQ) celebrated the graduation of its 10th batch of associates and bachelors degree holders on Monday evening.
This years ceremony witnessed the graduation of 865 promising national professionals in multiple fields, marking CCQs 10-year anniversary contributing to the career development of thousands of specialized cadres and supporting national priorities.
The ceremony also witnessed the graduation of CCQs first batch of students of the Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology program, who are set to join the labor force and play an effective role in serving the community and the nation as part of Qatar National Vision 2030, which identifies education as one of the basic pillars of social progress and the key to development and excellence.
In his speech to the Class of 2021, CCQ President Dr. Mohammed Ibrahim Al Nuaim extended his congratulations to the graduating class and expressed his pride in graduating a new batch of ambitious national cadres, who successfully completed an important chapter of their academic journey at CCQ and are fully equipped to set out on the next chapter to explore more opportunities that will enable them to be leaders of the future.
He pointed out that this ceremony coincided with the tenth anniversary of the founding of the college, noting that it had succeeded during the past decade in achieving a qualitative leap by offering 20 unique and diverse diploma and bachelor programs to meet the growing needs of the labor market and provide government and private institutions with specialized Qatari competencies.
In this context, Dr. Al Nuaimi added that the college succeeded in taking the initiative to offer academic programs in a number of vital fields in the country, including the Bachelor of Logistics and Supply Chain Management, BS in Cyber & Network Security, BS in Electrical Engineering Technology and two Bachelor programs in Project Management and Human Resources Management which attracted a large number of students, and interest in their employment by state institutions. He pointed out that the college has been able, since its establishment, to prosper and grow, and to establish strong ties and strategic and academic partnerships with the various sectors of the state.
He said that the state has invested significantly and effectively in the Community College to become a model and catalyst for lifelong learning, by providing more flexible educational paths and options, noting in this context that the college has added the blended education system to its educational systems, and has launched the Associate Diploma in Business Administration program, To become the first to offer an academic program with a blended education system in Qatar.
Dr. Al Nuaimi explained that this proactive and interactive methodology adopted by the college contributed to the success of the distance education experience and quickly and effectively overcome the challenges imposed by the Coronavirus (COVID 19) pandemic, supported by the distinguished technological infrastructure of the college, which succeeded in strengthening and protecting it through its commitment to applying global controls for information security and information security risk management which culminated in the college obtaining a certificate of compliance with information security.
In his speech, Dr. Al Nuaimi congratulated the graduates on this occasion, calling on them to exert more effort in the field of work in the service of the country and to contribute to its progress and development.
For their part, the graduates, in the speech delivered on their behalf, by graduate Hassan Al Shahrani, expressed their gratitude for the efforts made by the college in order to enhance their knowledge and skills to qualify them to work in various sectors and to enable them to return the favor to their homeland and contribute to achieving its aspirations and goals in development and modernization.

الدوحة: احتفلت كلية المجتمع في قطر ،مساء اليوم، بتخريج الدفعة العاشرة من طلبتها، والتي ضمت 865 طالبا وطالبة من حاملي شهادات الدبلوم المشارك والبكالوريوس.
ويتزامن احتفال هذا العام مع ذكرى مرور 10 سنوات على افتتاح كلية المجتمع في قطر، والتي نجحت خلال تلك السنوات في تحقيق سلسلة من الإنجازات المهمة في إطار تطوير نموذج فريد للتعليم العالي والتميز العلمي والمؤسسي في دولة قطر، من خلال تقديم مجموعة من الفرص التعليمية المتفردة وتوفير بيئة تعليمية مرنة ومحفزة للتعلم مدى الحياة.
كما تميز حفل هذا العام، بتخريج أول دفعة من حاملي شهادة البكالوريوس في العلوم في تكنولوجيا الهندسة الكهربائية، والذي يعد واحدا من البرامج المهمة التي أضافتها الكلية لرفد سوق العمل بالمهارات القطرية المؤهلة تأهيلا عاليا.
وفي كلمته خلال الحفل، قال الدكتور محمد إبراهيم النعيمي، رئيس كلية المجتمع، إن الكلية فخورة بتخريج كوكبة جديدة من أبناء وبنات دولة قطر الطموحين ممن أكملوا مرحلة مهمة من رحلتهم التعليمية في كلية المجتمع ويستعدون للانتقال إلى مرحلة جديدة نحو استكشاف المزيد من الفرص التي تؤهلهم ليكونوا قادة المستقبل.
وأشار إلى تزامن هذا الحفل مع الذكرى العاشرة لتأسيس الكلية .. منوها بأنها نجحت خلال العقد الماضي في تحقيق نقلة نوعية من خلال تقديم 20 برنامجاً من برامج الدبلوم والبكالوريوس الفريدة والمتنوعة لتلبية الاحتياجات المتنامية لسوق العمل ورفد المؤسسات الحكومية والخاصة بالكفاءات القطرية المتخصصة.
وأضاف الدكتور النعيمي، في هذا السياق، أن الكلية نجحت في أن تكون لها المبادرة في طرح برامج أكاديمية في عدد من المجالات الحيوية في الدولة، من بينها بكالوريوس إدارة الخدمات اللوجستية والإمدادات، وبكالوريوس الأمن السيبراني وأمن الشبكات، وبرنامجي البكالوريوس في إدارة المشاريع وإدارة الموارد البشرية، التي لاقت إقبالاً كبيراً من الطلبة، واهتماماً بتوظيفهم من قبل مؤسسات الدولة.
ولفت إلى أن الكلية تمكنت منذ تأسيسها من الازدهار والنمو وتأسيس الروابط القوية والشراكات الاستراتيجية والأكاديمية مع قطاعات الدولة المختلفة.
وقال إن الدولة استثمرت بشكل كبير وفعال في كلية المجتمع لتصبح نموذجاً ومحفزاً للتعلم مدى الحياة، من خلال توفير مسارات وخيارات تعليمية أكثر مرونة.. مبينا في هذا السياق أن الكلية أضافت نظام التعليم المدمج إلى أنظمتها التعليمية، وقامت بطرح برنامج الدبلوم المشارك في إدارة الأعمال، لتصبح أول من يطرح برنامجاً أكاديمياً بنظام التعليم المدمج في قطر.
وأوضح أن هذه المنهجية الاستباقية والتفاعلية التي اعتمدتها الكلية أسهمت في نجاح تجربة التعليم عن بُعد وتجاوز التحديات التي فرضتها جائحة كورونا بشكل سريع وفعال، مدعومة بالبنية الأساسية التكنولوجية المتميزة للكلية، والتي نجحت في تعزيزها وحمايتها عبر التزامها بتطبيق الضوابط العالمية لأمن المعلومات وإدارة المخاطر الأمنية المعلوماتية، الذي توج بحصول الكلية على شهادة الامتثال لأمن المعلومات.
وهنأ الدكتور النعيمي، في كلمته، الخريجين والخريجات بهذه المناسبة.. داعيا إياهم إلى مزيد من البذل والعطاء في ميدان العمل خدمة للوطن وللمساهمة في تقدمه ونمائه.
من جانبهم، عبر الخريجون، في الكلمة التي ألقاها الخريج حسن الشهراني، عن امتنانهم للجهود التي بذلتها الكلية في سبيل تعزيز معارفهم ومهاراتهم بما يؤهلهم للعمل في مختلف القطاعات وبما يمكنهم من رد الجميل لوطنهم والمساهمة في تحقيق تطلعاته وغاياته في التنمية والتحديث .
