Stunning footage of the world’s largest endangered whale shark migrations off the Qatari coast

Qatar Tourism has taken stunning photos and videos of one of the world’s largest endangered whale shark migrations off Qatar’s northeastern coast, celebrating World Whale Shark Day on August 30th.
Qatar Tourism posted a video on its official social media accounts showing the whale shark in a stunning scene.
World Whale Shark Day marks the end of the season of one of the world’s largest whale shark populations in search of a suitable marine environment, it said.
Every year, whale sharks gather in Qatari waters to feed on tuna eggs and caviar and enjoy cold water off the Arabian Gulf.
Qatar Tourism called on the public to contribute to the protection of rare fish by preserving Qatar’s marine environment.

ونشرت قطر للسياحة على حساباتها الرسمية على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي فيديو يظهر فيه قرش الحوت في مشهد خلاب.
وأشارت إلى أن اليوم العالمي لقرش الحوت يصادف نهاية موسم أحد أكبر تجمعات قرش الحوت التي يشهدها العالم بحثاً عن بيئة بحرية مناسبة لها.
وتتجمع أسماك قرش الحوت كل عام في المياه القطرية لتتغذى على بيض التونة والكافيار والاستمتاع بالمياه الباردة قبالة الخليج العربي.
ودعت قطر للسياحة الجمهور للمساهمة في حماية الأسماك النادرة من خلال الحفاظ على بيئة قطر البحرية.
