Katara to Launch Exceptional Edition of Suhail 2022 Exhibition

Doha: The Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) is preparing to launch the sixth edition of the Katara’s International Hunting and Falcons Exhibition (S’hail 2022), from September 5 to 10, with the participation of more than 170 companies representing 16 Arab and foreign countries.

Vice Chairman of the organizing committee of the Exhibition Mohammed bin Abdul Latif Al-Misnad said: “we are nearing the completion of the plan for the sixth edition of the Katara’s International Hunting and Falcons Exhibition, which has become an important date for falconers and hunting enthusiasts, not only at the local and regional level, but also globally”.

He explained that the new version of the exhibition is characterized by an increase in its area by an estimated 20%, with the site of the exhibition divided into three halls: the tent, in which falconry supplies are displayed, in addition to the S’hail Auction of the rarest falcon birds species, and a hall for weapons companies and their various exhibits, while the third hall will be dedicated to falcon birds farms, car equipment companies and falconry trips. The public will have a date for the first time with the (hybrid) hatchery auction.

Regarding the competitions, he said that the public will be involved in the competitions of the most beautiful pavilion and the most beautiful hood, in addition to a new competition for trips’ cooking, which is dedicated to the falconry lovers and which details will be announced later, in addition to the restaurant S’hail, which serve dishes related to hunting and falconry environment.

Al-Misnad explained that this year’s edition will not only be confined to providing everything related to hunting and falconry, supporting the economic movement and the marketing process in this field, but also enriching the cultural and artistic scene, to be a mainstay to revive our authentic heritage, through various cultural and artistic events, including live painting with the participation of a distinguished elite of artists who will draw directly in front of the public paintings inspired by the atmosphere of the exhibition, in addition to poetry seminars and scientific lectures specialized in the field of falconry and hatching.

Al-Misnad pointed out that work has been done to develop the S’hail application to provide companies with the opportunity to open a virtual store on the application and display their products and all information about them, which will have a great impact on promotion and marketing.

The fifth edition of the exhibition (S’hail) registered the participation of 160 international companies from 19 countries, and achieved a high percentage of sales.

الدوحة: تستعد المؤسسة العامة للحي الثقافي /كتارا/ لإطلاق النسخة السادسة لمعرض كتارا الدولي للصيد والصقور “سهيل 2022″، وذلك في الفترة من 5 إلى 10 سبتمبر المقبل، بمشاركة أكثر من 170 شركة تمثل 16 دولة عربية وأجنبية.

وقال محمد بن عبد اللطيف المسند نائب رئيس اللجنة المنظمة للمعرض: “نقترب من استكمال الخطة الموضوعة للنسخة السادسة لمعرض كتارا الدولي للصيد والصقور، الذي بات يشكل موعدا مهما لرواد الصقارة وعشاق الصيد، ليس فقط على المستوى المحلي والإقليمي وإنما العالمي أيضا”.

وأوضح أن النسخة الجديدة من المعرض تتميز بزيادة مساحته بنسبة تقدر بـ 20 بالمئة، حيث ينقسم مقر المعرض إلى ثلاث قاعات هي: الخيمة والتي يتم فيها عرض مستلزمات المقناص والكشتات، بالإضافة إلى مزاد سهيل لأندر أنواع الطيور، وقاعة خاصة بشركات الأسلحة وما تقدمه من معروضات متنوعة، أما القاعة الثالثة فستكون مخصصة لمزارع الطيور وشركات تجهيز السيارات ورحلات المقناص، وسيكون الجمهور على موعد لأول مرة مع مزاد طيور التفريخ (المهجنة).

وفي ما يتعلق بالمسابقات، قال: إنه سيتم إشراك الجمهور في مسابقتي أجمل جناح وأجمل برقع، بالإضافة إلى مسابقة جديدة لطبخ الكشتات، وهي مخصصة لأهل القنص، وسيتم الإعلان عن تفاصيلها لاحقا، إلى جانب مطعم (سهيل) الذي يقدم أطباقه ذات العلاقة ببيئة الصيد والكشتات.

وأوضح المسند أن نسخة هذا العام لا تكتفي فقط بتقديم كل ما يخص الصيد والصقور ودعم الحركة الاقتصادية وعملية التسويق في هذا المجال، وإنما أيضا إثراء المشهد الثقافي والفني، ليكون دعامة رئيسية لإحياء تراثنا الأصيل، من خلال فعاليات ثقافية وفنية متنوعة، ومنها الرسم الحي بمشاركة نخبة مميزة من الفنانين الذين سيرسمون مباشرة أمام الجمهور لوحات مستوحاة من أجواء المعرض، بالإضافة إلى ندوات شعرية ومحاضرات علمية متخصصة في مجال تربية الصقور والتفريخ.

وأشار المسند إلى أنه تم العمل على تطوير تطبيق (سهيل) لإتاحة الفرصة للشركات، وذلك بفتح متجر افتراضي على التطبيق وعرض منتجاتها وكل المعلومات عنها، وهو ما سيكون له التأثير الكبير في عملية الترويج والتسويق.

الجدير بالذكر أن النسخة الخامسة من معرض /سهيل/ سجلت مشاركة 160 شركة عالمية من 19 دولة، وحققت نسبة مبيعات عالية.
