Calls for promoting a culture of moderation and rationalization of consumption in Qatar
دعوات لتعزيز ثقافة الاعتدال وترشيد استهلاك في قطر

A number of religious scholars and citizens stressed the need to strengthen the culture of investment and moderation and rationalize consumption and non-indebtedness in order to buy unnecessary needs, guided by the high speech delivered by His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani who opened the 50th session of the Shura Council, and focused on the dangers of consumable life values dominance, underestimating the intangible aspects of life, not appreciating the productive work, and the individual not enjoying what is available because he is always busy requesting more consumption, and easy borrowing for transient and unnecessary immediate purposes.
They said that there is an urgent need to raise awareness of the importance of savings, arranging our lives and planning the family budget, and changing our purchasing habits for the better, by focusing on reducing consumption and borrowing by the family, school and society as a whole, in addition to praying on minbars, especially since society urgently needs to change its culture and develop the thought of rationalization or consuming wisely and rationally.

شدد عدد من علماء الدين والمواطنين، على ضرورة تعزيز ثقافة الاستثمار والاعتدال وترشيد استهلاك وعدم الاستدانة بهدف شراء حاجات غير ضرورية، مسترشدين في ذلك بالخطاب السامي الذي ألقاه حضرة صاحب السمو الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني أمير البلاد المفدى أمام انعقاد الدور الخمسين لمجلس الشورى، وركز فيه على مخاطر هيمنة قيم الحياة الاستهلاكية، والاستخفاف بالجوانب غير المادية في الحياة، وعدم تقدير العمل المنتج، وعدم تمتع الفرد بما يتوفر لديه لأنه منشغل دائماً بطلب المزيد من الاستهلاك، واستسهال الاستدانة لأغراض آنية عابرة وغير ضرورية.
وقالوا “للشرق” أن هناك حاجة ماسة للتوعية بأهمية الادخار وترتيب امور حياتنا وتخطيط ميزانية الأسرة، وتغيير عاداتنا الشرائية للأفضل، وذلك من خلال التركيز على الحد من الاستهلاك والاستدانة من الأسرة والمدرسة والمجتمع ككل، بالإضافة إلى الدعاة على المنابر، خاصة وان المجتمع في حاجة ملحة إلى تغيير ثقافته وتنمية فكر الترشيد او الاستهلاك بحكمة وعقلانية.
