“Dusty” car disappears from the front of a citizen’s house in Al-Khor

Pay attention to the cleanliness of your car or it may end up in the municipality’s “net”, and this is exactly what happened to a citizen who discovered the absence of his car from the front of his house, and after a deep search it turned out that “Ministry’s Breakdown Service” had towed it and fined the owner a violation worth 1000 riyals.
Municipal Councilman Abdullah al-Marikhi tweeted that a citizen’s car had disappeared from front of his home to find out that the municipality had seized the car because it was unclean and neglected.
Abdullah said the municipality informed them after the review that the reason was that the car was unclean (dusty) and a 1,000 riyal ticket must be paid and then go to the the tow yard to pick it up.
The Ministry of Municipality responded to his tweet, noting that during the periodic inspection, a neglected car that was distorting the public view was seized.
“A notice poster has been put up but the municipality has not been reviewed, so a report of a violation of the car has been released in accordance with the provisions of Law 18 of 2017 on hygiene, and the procedures have been completed and the vehicle removed,” the municipality said.
A Twitter user suggested to the municipality that the vehicle owner’s phone should be called using the vehicle’s plate number as well as a notice poster for further alert and awareness.
The municipality replied that the proposal had been registered and transferred to the concerned authorities, thanking him for his communication.
Abdullah al-Marikhi tweeted a clean picture of the car: “Thank you the car was washed.”

انتبه من نظافة سيارتك وإلا فإن مصيرها في “شبك” البلدية، وهذا بالضبط ما حدث لأحد المواطنين الذي اكتشف عدم وجود سيارته أمام منزله، وبعد بحث عميق تبين أن “بركدون الوزارة” سحبها وغرّم صاحبها مخالفة قيمتها 1000 ريال.
ونشر عضو المجلس البلدي عبدالله المريخي في حسابه على تويتر تغريدة يعلن فيها اختفاء سيارة أحد المواطنين من أمام منزله ليتبين أن البلدية ضبطت السيارة لأنها غير نظيفة ومهملة.
وأشار عبد الله أن البلدية أعلمتهم بعد المراجعة أن السبب هو أن السيارة كانت غير نظيفة (مغبره) ويجب دفع مخالفة 1000 ريال ومن ثم الذهاب إلى الشبك لاستلامها.
وردت وزارة البلدية على تغريدته مشيرة إلى أنه أثناء التفتيش الدوري تم ضبط سيارة مهملة ومشوهة للمنظر العام.
وأوضحت البلدية: “تم وضع ملصق إخطار، ولم تتم مراجعة البلدية، وعليه تم تحرير محضر ضبط مخالفة للسيارة طبقاً لأحكام القانون رقم 18 لسنة 2017 بشأن النظافة العامة، وتم استكمال الإجراءات وإزالة السيارة.”
واقترح أحد مستخدمين تويتر على البلدية بأن يتم محاولة الاتصال بهاتف صاحب المركبة عن طريق رقم السيارة بالإضافة إلى وضع ملصق إخطار للمزيد من التنبيه والتوعية.
وردت البلدية عليه بأنه تم تسجيل المقترح وتحويله للجهات المعنية، شاكرة له تواصله.
وغرد عبدالله المريخي بصورة للسيارة وهي نظيفة: “شكراً تم غسل السيارة”.
