Wiki Loves Monuments competition invites Qatar-based photographers to participate
مسابقة ويكي تحب المعالم تدعو المصورين المقيمين في قطر للمشاركة

Doha: Qatar is participating in the largest photography competition, ‘Wiki Loves Monuments’. Qatar National Library, with Qatar Museums and Qatar Photographic Society, is inviting photographers to submit their pictures of 11 monuments that are listed in Wikipedia.
The participants must be a resident or citizen of Qatar and have to upload the pictures by this month-end, October 31.
The winning pictures will be selected on the basis of creativity, originality, quality, focus-exposure and composition.
The participants can find details on registration on the Wiki site here.
Each participant can upload up to 10 pictures and have to agree to the Creative Commons Attribution ShareAlike license to allow further re-use.
Juries for the competition will select 10 winners who will get a chance to be included in the international competition. Prizes will be souvenirs given by Qatar National Library and for the international competition, participants have a chance to win up to €1500 in-kind prizes.

يجب أن يكون المشاركون من المقيمين أو المواطنين القطريين، ويجب عليهم تحميل الصور بحلول نهاية هذا الشهر، 31 أكتوبر.
سيتم اختيار الصور الفائزة على أساس الإبداع والأصالة والجودة والتعرض للتركيز والتكوين.

يمكن لكل مشارك تحميل ما يصل إلى 10 صور ويجب أن يوافق على ترخيص إسناد المشاع الإبداعي للسماح بمزيد من إعادة الاستخدام.
وستختار هيئات المحلفين في المسابقة 10 فائزين سيحصلون على فرصة المشاركة في المسابقة الدولية. ستكون الجوائز هدايا تذكارية تقدمها مكتبة قطر الوطنية، وللمسابقة الدولية، تتاح للمشاركين فرصة الفوز بجوائز عينية تصل إلى 1500 يورو.
