Joint UEFA-European Commission Campaign Tackles Climate Change

Brussels: UEFA and the European Commission (EC) have teamed up for the latest round of UEFA club competition matches to kick off “EveryTrickCounts”, a new public awareness campaign in which football stars and freestylers mobilise against climate change.
Football greats Luis Figo of Portugal, Italy’s Gianluigi Buffon and French duo Delphine and Estelle Cascarino turn on the skills for campaign ad that shows everyone has a role to play in defeating the environment’s toughest opponent.
“EveryTrickCounts”, part of UEFA’s football and social responsibility programme Respect, will go live at this week’s men’s Champions League, Europa League and Europa Conference League fixtures with the launch of a campaign advert featuring Figo, the Cascarino’s and Buffon.
In the video, which will be played on television, social media and stadium screens, the four players use an array of footballing tricks to show how simple changes in our daily lives can make a big difference in the fight against climate change.

وشارك أسطورة حراسة المرمى جيانلويجي بوفون والنجم البرتغالي السابق لويس فيجو والتوأمتان دلفين وإستيل كاسكارينو لاعبتا كرة القدم في إطلاق الحملة التي ستشهد تحرك نجوم كرة القدم وغيرهم ضد التغير المناخي.
وسيتم عرض مقطع فيديو للتوعية خلال هذا الأسبوع على هامش مباريات دوري أبطال أوروبا وغيرها من المباريات الأوروبية.
وذكر /اليويفا/ أن مقطع الفيديو سيظهر اللاعبين الأربعة وهم “يستخدمون مجموعة من حيل كرة القدم لإظهار كيف يمكن لتغييرات بسيطة في حياتنا اليومية أن تحدث فارقا كبيرا في مكافحة التغير المناخي”.
