An official source in the Saudi Interior Ministry announced that based on the results of the competent health authorities and due to progress in vaccinating the community and the decline in the number of cases, approval has been issued to ease health precautions starting next Sunday.
According to Saudi media, the mitigation decisions were as follows:
First: Non-binding of masks in open spaces , except excluded places, but remaining mandatory in closed spaces.
Second: Precautionary measures for those who have received two doses of Covid-19 vaccine are relaxed as follows:
1- Allowing full capacity in Al Masjid Al-Haram, requiring workers and visitors to wear masks at all times in all corridors of the mosque, and continue to use the application of Eatamarna or Tawakkalna to take umrah and prayer dates to control the numbers that exist simultaneously.
2- Allowing full capacity in Al Masjid Al-Nabawi, requiring workers and visitors to wear masks at all times in all corridors of the mosque, and using the application Eatamarna or Tawakkalna to take prayer dates and visit the Holy campus to control the numbers that exist simultaneously.
3- Eliminating spacing and allowing the use of the full capacity in gatherings, public places, transportation, restaurants, cinemas, etc.
4- Allowing the holding and attendance of events in wedding halls and others without restriction of the number, with the importance of emphasizing the application of precautionary measures due to the seriousness of the associated behaviours.
Thirdly: Two-dose vaccination is required to enter all the sites and activities referred to in “second” mentioned above, excluding those who are not covered and excluded, as shown in the application of Tawakkalna. With the commitment of all to all the precautionary measures applied, including the wearing of face masks.
Fourth: Spacing and wearing masks continue to be applied in locations where validation of health status is not done through Tawakkalna.
Fifth: The Public Health Authority prepares the preventive measures to be adhered to for all activities mentioned in section (II).
Sixth: Making sure the public and private sector and their equivalents verify the immunization status in the application of “Tawakkalna” to all those who wish to enter the facility, and following up on compliance with precautionary measures and preventive measures taken by the relevant authorities to deal with the pandemic, including the wearing of masks.
Seventh: Making sure the relevant authorities, each with regard to its field, apply the sanctions imposed on violators of precautionary measures and preventive measures taken by the relevant authorities to deal with the pandemic.
Eighth: The Ministry of Health is monitoring the numbers of sleeping cases due to covid-19, particularly intensive care, and raising what is needed in the event of a need to tighten precautionary measures at the level of cities, provinces or regions.
The source confirmed that these decisions are subject to periodic review in accordance with local and international developments.

أعلن مصدر مسؤول في وزارة الداخلية السعودية أنه وبناء على ما رفعته الجهات الصحية المختصة ونظراً للتقدم في تحصين المجتمع والنزول في عدد الحالات، فقد صدرت الموافقة على تخفيف الاحترازات الصحية ابتداء من يوم الأحد المقبل.
وقال المصدر – وفق ما نشرته وسائل الإعلام السعودية – إن قرارات التخفيف جاءت كما يلي :
أولاً: عدم الإلزام بارتداء الكمامة في الأماكن المفتوحة -فيما عدا الأماكن المستثناة- مع الاستمرار في الإلزام بارتدائها في الأماكن المغلقة.
ثانياً: يتم تخفيف الإجراءات الاحترازية للحاصلين على جرعتي لقاح «كوفيد-19» على النحو الآتي:
1- السماح باستخدام كامل الطاقة الاستيعابية في المسجد الحرام مع إلزام العاملين والزائرين بارتداء الكمامة في جميع الأوقات في كافة أروقة المسجد، والاستمرار في استخدام تطبيق اعتمرنا أو توكلنا لأخذ مواعيد العمرة والصلاة للتحكم بالأعداد الموجودة في آن واحد.
2- السماح باستخدام كامل الطاقة الاستيعابية في المسجد النبوي مع إلزام العاملين والزائرين بارتداء الكمامة في جميع الأوقات في كافة أروقة المسجد، واستخدام تطبيق اعتمرنا أو توكلنا لأخذ مواعيد الصلاة وزيارة الروضة الشريفة للتحكم بالأعداد الموجودة في آن واحد.
3- إلغاء التباعد والسماح باستخدام كامل الطاقة الاستيعابية في التجمعات والأماكن العامة ووسائل المواصلات والمطاعم وصالات السينما ونحوها.
4- السماح بإقامة وحضور المناسبات في قاعات الأفراح وغيرها بدون تقييد للعدد، مع أهمية التأكيد على تطبيق الإجراءات الاحترازية نظراً لخطورة السلوكيات المرتبطة به.
ثالثاً: يشترط التحصين بجرعتين لدخول كافة المواقع والأنشطة المشار إليها في ثانيا أعلاه ويستثنى من ذلك غير المشمولين والمستثنيين بحسب ما يظهر في تطبيق توكلنا. مع الالتزام من الجميع بكافة الإجراءات الاحترازية المطبقة بما فيها لبس الكمامة.
رابعاً: يستمر تطبيق التباعد وارتداء الكمامات في المواقع التي لا يتم تطبيق التحقق من الحالة الصحية لمرتاديها من خلال تطبيق توكلنا.
خامساً: تعد هيئة الصحة العامة «وقاية» الإجراءات الوقائية الواجب الالتزام بها لجميع الأنشطة المذكورة في البند (ثانياً).
سادساً: التأكيد على القطاع العام والخاص وما في حكمه؛ بالتحقق من حالة التحصين في تطبيق «توكلنا» لجميع من يرغب في الدخول للمنشأة، ومتابعة الالتزام بالإجراءات الاحترازية والتدابير الوقائية المتخذة من الجهات المعنية لمواجهة الجائحة بما فيها لبس الكمامة.
سابعاً: التأكيد على الجهات ذات العلاقة -كل فيما يخصه- بتطبيق العقوبات المقررة بحق المخالفين للإجراءات الاحترازية والتدابير الوقائية المتخذة من الجهات المعنية لمواجهة الجائحة.
ثامناً: تقوم وزارة الصحة بمتابعة أعداد الحالات المرضية المنومة بسبب الإصابة بمرض «كوفيد-19»، وبالذات العناية المركزة، والرفع عما يلزم في حال الحاجة إلى تشديد الإجراءات الاحترازية على مستوى المدن أو المحافظات أو المناطق.
وأكد المصدر أن هذه القرارات خاضعة للمراجعة الدورية وفق المستجدات المحلية والدولية.
