QRCS provides food and relief aid to the people of Gaza

Doha: The Qatari Red Crescent continues to implement the urgent relief project for Jerusalem and the Gaza Strip, at a total cost of two million U.S. dollars, to alleviate the burdens of those affected by the recent aggression on Gaza, in light of the continuation of the siege and the closure of crossings, by providing the Palestinian Red Crescent hospitals in the Gaza Strip with medicines and medical consumables. At a total cost of $300,000, to cover the needs of approximately 31,000 patients over the next six months.

“Work is under way in coordination with the Palestinian Red Crescent to provide emergency food and relief assistance at a total cost of $372,000, benefiting some 60,000 affected people from the Gaza Strip governorates, including 4,356 food package for affected families”. Dr. Akram Nassar, Director of the Qatari Red Crescent Office in the Gaza Strip, said.

This is in addition to 600 families benefiting from relief materials to improve their living conditions, which were severely affected by the recent aggression on the Strip.

الدوحة: يواصل الهلال الأحمر القطري تنفيذ مشروع الإغاثة العاجلة للقدس وقطاع غزة بتكلفة إجمالية تبلغ مليوني دولار أمريكي للتخفيف عن كاهل المُتضرّرين من العدوان الأخير على غزة، في ظل استمرار الحصار وإغلاق المعابر، وذلك من خلال تزويد مستشفيات الهلال الأحمر الفلسطيني في القطاع بالأدوية والمستهلكات الطبية، بتكلفة إجمالية تبلغ 300.000 دولار أمريكي، لتغطي احتياجات حوالي 31.000 مريض على مدار الأشهر الستة المُقبلة.

وقال د. أكرم نصار مدير مكتب الهلال الأحمر القطري في قطاع غزة: إن العمل جارٍ بالتنسيق مع الهلال الأحمر الفلسطيني لتقديم المُساعدات الغذائية والإغاثية الطارئة بتكلفة إجمالية قدرها 372.000 دولار أمريكي، ويستفيد منها حوالي 60.000 متضرّر من محافظات قطاع غزة، وهي تتضمن 4.356 طردًا غذائيًا للعائلات المتضرّرة. هذا إلى جانب استفادة 600 عائلة من المواد الإغاثية لتحسين ظروفهم الحياتيّة، التي تأثرت بشدة جراء العدوان الأخير على القطاع.
